September 2018 Basic Man Review

Basic Man delivers a shirt (v-neck or crew), socks, and boxer-briefs each month. They’ll vary up the styles and shirt type from month to month as well – there isn’t any type of customization process for it, the changes just occur on a monthly basis.

Basic Man Tee

Like the name suggests, the offerings from this subscription cover your basics – the first is a crew neck tee.

These now arrive pre-washed, which I think has adjusted the sizing a bit.

The XL in the past used to fit like a large – but this XL was a bit roomy, so I’m going to try sizing down next time.

Basic Man Underwear

The Basic Man boxers are a good everyday pair of boxers, I’ve even used them while working out – they’re breathable, thin, and silky smooth. Each pair is a 95/5 Modal/Elastane blend.

Basic Man Socks

To go with your purple boxers, you’ll get a pair of purple socks.

The socks are an 80/17/3 combed cotton/polyester/elastic blend.

These come way up your calf and tend to hold quite a bit longer than other socks I’ve tried.

Overall, I always look forward to these socks – they’re comfy and breathable.

Verdict: This is one of the best values for men’s basics. It’ll work well to send to someone in college or just for building/restocking your personal basics!
