Sunny Fruit Organic Dried Smyrna Figs (Turkey), 1.76 oz. - Buy 5 packs for $12.99
Guess what everyone? Figs are delicious! I've had them in things, but rarely eat figs alone. I'm quite into them, I must say. I'm impressed with how moist and fresh these taste as well. These are organic, which is awesome and have nothing added but some water. I like that they're soft like raisins but have crunchy seeds for added texture.
The Protein Ball Co. Coconut + Macadamia Protein Balls (United Kingdom), 1.58 oz. - Buy a pack of 10 for $22.98
Holy cow, these are tasty! What a perfect on-the-go snack! I love coconut and nuts, so this flavor is really yummy and has a sweetness to it that negates any potential icky flavor that a lot of protein-packed snacks may have. I love the portion control pack as well for these. The dense little balls are chewy and are made with dates, whey powder, cashews, macadamia nuts, fruit juice concentrate, rice starch, and desiccated coconut.
Oloves Olives in Chili + Garlic (United Kingdom), 1.1 oz. - Buy a 30 pack for $26.89
Be still, my heart. Olives are one of my favorite foods (I could live off a cheese and olive plate, no problem) and Oloves has put them in a cute little snack pack for me. I received the chili + garlic flavor which is perfect for me. I'll say that these aren't AS tasty as fresh olives from an olive bar, but they will do in a pinch!
Dr Oetker Vanilla Pudding Mix (Canada), 1.5 oz. - Buy 3 packs for $3.45
This is maybe the only item that doesn't grab me this month. For one, I probably won't ever get around to making this because I'm not that crazy about pudding, but it's nice to see a random item like this. The info sheet calls this German pudding, but it's a product of Canada. Either way, I suppose it's an international offering!
Sal de Ibiza Potato Chips (Spain), 1.59 oz. - Buy a 4.4 oz. bag for $4.95
I'm at the point in my potato chip loving career that friends will send me bags of chips from where they live or grab me a bag when they travel. Needless to say, I'm a chip addict so these are a win for me. Wow- these are terrific! The inside of the already beautiful bag is a metallic gold which makes it extra fancy too. These are wonderfully salty and have a great crunch to them, although they are quite oily. Big thumbs up!
Verdict: The Yummy Bazaar World Sampler Box seems to have stepped up its game since the last time I reviewed it, which makes sense since they've been killin' it in the "full experience" box. All of the items felt really gourmet and were from a myriad of places I don't have access to. The chips were the top fave for me but the pudding was the only thing I wasn't excited about. For just $9.95, I've very pleased with this selection!
