August 2018 Dapper Dog Box Review

The Dapper Dog Box has been consistently great over the past few months – once again, we get 2 toys, 2 bags of treats, and a brand new bandana for Buckles!

Your tried and true reviewer was first on the scene!

Please Note: Our box didn’t come with a card with month

Tropical Bandana – Value $10-12?

Let’s start with this month’s bandana – it’s got a summer vibe going for it, and once again, it’s really cute.

I think he’s ready for his day at the beach!

Petlou Watermelon – Value $10

There are two plush toys in the box – both from Petlou and both are fruit items to mimic the bandana.

This toy is mostly plush – with a slight crinkle to it, plus a squeaker.

While it was slightly big for him – he played with both toys. A lot!

Petlou Pineapple – Value $10

The second plush toy is a medium sized pineapple. This one has giant squeaker on the inside – and the leaves are a felt-like material.

He did not want to surrender the pineapple! It’s safe to say that both toys were hits this month.

Healthy Dogma Coconut Recipe Barkers – Value $6

On to the treats. These are little hard bones – while our dog doesn’t really like harder bones and chews, he was determined to try them…

He hardly let me set the cup down.

I broke off a little piece for him to make it easier for him to try. It took him quite a bit to get through one little piece because it was a bit hard – but he ate it up.

Sodapup Salmon and Blueberry Grain-Free Treats – Value $10 based on their other treats

These are the same treats from our June box – so we knew he’d like these.

This is Buckles thinking: “Didn’t I just Review These?”

Overall, these are medium size – but you can break them up pretty easily. They check all the boxes for us with no soy, corn, or wheat – and he likes them, so I have no problem having another bag!

Verdict: The Dapper Dog Box has been knocking it out of the park for us lately! I like that they’ve been including bandanas far more regularly now – it’s the big differentiator for them, and it’s working!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Monthly cut-offs are the 20th of each month to get that month’s box.
