June 2018 Dapper Dog Box Review

The June 2018 Dapper Dog Box includes 2 toys, 2 treats, and a new bandana for your pup.

You’ll get a one-sided card this time around with information on a few of the items in your box.

Buckles is ready to give his verdict.

Lemonade Bandana – Value $12

The hero item of the box is most definitely this cute summer bandana. It’s made by Dapper Dog, and is available to buy in their store if you missed out!

It’s a really soft cotton bandana – and it even arrives with two snaps for different neck sizes.

Buckles just looks too cute in this bandana! He’s still wearing it as he snoozes next to me as I write this review.

Peach Crinkle Toy – Value $9

Again, this is available for purchase in their online store if you missed out.  This is made by American Dog for Dapper Dog Box – it’s a crinkly toy with a durable front fabric and a soft fleece-like back fabric.

Going through the box, I assumed this would be Buckles’ favorite of the two toys – I was wrong about that, but he did have some fun with it.

Barke Shopper Treatie Pies – Value $10-15?

The second toy we received is a slice of pie. It’s on the bigger side for small toys – but that didn’t seem to be an issue for Buckles.

He went to town on this pie – the only thing he’d enjoy more would be actual pie. The ice cream is made with a stronger fabric, while the rest is soft – and there is one little squeaker inside.

Sodapup Salmon and Blueberry Grain-Free Treats – Value $10 based on their other treats

The only bag of treats in the box comes from Sodapup – they are bite-sized little salmon and blueberry treats.

These are slightly larger than something I’d consider using when training Buckles. He got about 3 bites out of one to eat the entire thing.

Bombay + Bambis Dog Bakery Peach Cookie – Value $3 based on their cookie line

Bombay + Bambis apparently make the cutest little treats that I’ve ever seen! Even better, these are grain-free for Buckles to enjoy.

These are on the harder side – but Buckles was determined and did work his way through the little piece that he got – he ate it up!

Verdict: We love getting new bandanas for Buckles – he looks so darn cute. At $30 a month, this is on the higher-priced side of dog boxes, but they always seem to exceed value – and when they include a clothing item, it has been the highlight of the box.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Monthly cut-offs are the 20th of each month to get that month’s box.
