Bath Bevy Summer Cocktails August 2018 Review
This box included an info sheet with details on the products, plus exclusive coupons to the included brands! It also looks like the Bath Bevy info sheet got a small makeover, and I am loving the additional pops of color.
Also included this month was a coupon for Bright Cellars. (Check outΒ ourΒ Bright Cellars reviewsΒ and save 50% off your first box!)
Moonβs Harvest Moonshine Bath Bomb, 12 oz (!!!) β Retail Value $5.99
This bath bomb is MASSIVE! A normal bath bomb is around 5-6 ounces and this baby comes in at 12! This is about the size of a baseball, if not slightly bigger, and it has a prize inside in the form of mini lotion bars that will soften in the warm water that you can then rub into your skin. This smells of sweet orange, cherry, and bubbly spirits and it does remind me a bit of a champagne cocktail. In my professional opinion as a bath bomb connoisseur, Moonβs Harvest is definitely undervaluing their productsβthe quality is far and above a regular $6 bath bomb.
Cosmic Cleanse Hakuna Ma Margarita Salt Soak β Estimated Value $10
This smells just like a fruity salted margarita and I love it. I thought the colors of the salt soak were so pretty in the jar, and it made my bath water a shade of purple. Cosmic Cleanse doesnβt currently offer any of their bath products for saleβbased on their website it seems like every few weeks Cosmic Cleanse will have a pre-order with products available for sale, and then the shop goes dormant during the production of the products. I could easily see paying $10 for a jar of salt soak that is good for 3 baths, so that is the estimated value I went with.
The Soothing Sloth Sassy Sangria Bath Bomb, 5 oz β Estimated Value $7 (based on other bath bombs found here)
This mango-shaped bath bomb smells like fruity sangria! It was super hydrating on my skin, and when I was looking up the brand it seems that all of their bath bombs include coconut oil and kaolin clayβthat will do it! When this bath bomb hit the water streams of yellow and orange started decorating my bath water, and I am a sucker for pretty bath art.
Copper Cat Apothecary Mimosa Butter Bark Bath Treat Cake Pop, Estimated Value $7.50 (based on similar cake pops found here)
While the name of this bath truffle is a bit of a mouthful, it is definitely a real treat for my skin. I wasnβt sure if it was going to bubble due to the instructions to hold it under running water (it didnβt), but this ended up being one of the most moisturizing bath truffles I have ever used. After my bath when I was laying in bed I kept rubbing my legs together and I couldnβt believe how soft and silky they wereβit felt like I had just left a massage where mimosa scented body oil was used.
Bath Bevy Summer Cocktails Bath Bomb Dust, 4.5 oz β Estimated Value $8
Bath Bevy has been branching out into making their own bath products, and I really loved the bath salts from the May box. This bath bomb dust is essentially a powdered bath bomb, and I was delighted to see the dust foam up when it hit the water.
Here is what the water looked like about 10 seconds after adding the bath dust. This smelled so goodβit was a combination of a little tropical and a little fruity, which is exactly the kind of cocktail I am reaching for in the summer. Once I climbed into these gorgeous teal waters I felt like a summer mermaid and I was digging it.
Sip Caddy in Pink β Retail Value $13.95
Oh heck yeah, I am HERE for this. Considering my love of baths I am a bit surprised I donβt already have a drink holder, but I am happy that Bath Bevy has fixed this glaring issue. This attached sturdily to the wall of my shower and it is able to hold a bottle of soda, a glass of wine, or a can of beer with ease. Now all I need is one of those bath pillows and I will be set!
Verdict:Β This monthβs box fromΒ Bath BevyΒ was such a treat! The bath bombs were so fun, the sip caddy is an awesome addition to my overall life. I thought Bath Bevy’s bath dust was really great quality as well, and I hope to see more products from them in the future!
Value-wise, this box costs $42.95 ($36.95 + $6 shipping), and I calculated a value of $52.44. That is great for a bath bomb box focused on working with indie brands, but I will say that if you are only subscribing to get a great deal you may not be the intended audience for this box. If you appreciate thoughtful curation with high quality, small brand items then this box should make you very happy!
To Wrap Up:
Can you get this box if you still sign up today?Β No, you will receive the September box. From Bath Bevy:
Your box will ship on the first week of every month. Please order by the last day of the month to get the following month’s box.
COUPON: Use code SAVE10 to save 10% off your first box.
Value Breakdown:Β This box cost $42.95 ($36.95 + $6 shipping) for 6 items which breaks down to $7.16 per item. I would happily pay that for every item in the box!

I am LOVING this sub!! It feels like Christmas every month!!
Hi Liz. Is there a cheaper bath box subscription with bath bombs that doesnt cost $42.
Iβd love to know as well. Iβm a bath person and would love to subscribe to a box BUT not for this price. Itβs a bit steep for me.
I love this box too, am trying it out as a nice treat. As far as other bath subs go, I’ve subscribed to The Soap Shack and The Bath Benefit- love both for different reasons. Great curation and customer service by all.
There’s a bath bomb club by naturally vain that is pretty inexpensive, it’s all bath bombs and they make them (so it doesn’t have etsy makers or anything like that). $23/mo for 6 bombs. Not sure how much shipping is. They’re out of Canada but i order from them all the time and haven’t thought their shipping was outrageous
Also, BathBomBox; you can order from three to six bath bombs, and the six cost $25.99, but add shipping.
I. LOVE. THIS. SUBSCRIPTION!!! I’ve been acquiring a wonderful selection of bath bombs, salts and truffles from the several bath subs that I get…now I just need to find more time for relaxing baths!! Serious problem..π!!
