Postmark'd Studio PostBox July 2018 Review
There's a handwritten thank you note from Anne of Postmark'd Studio in a mini letterpress card. How special!
Plus, there's always a postcard and pencil included in each package.
The cards are always beautifully bundled together, this month with a rainbow ribbon.
One side of the info card reveals this month's theme: "I Scream, You Scream" because it's National Ice Cream Month! Here, there are some writing prompts to get you sending out mail to friends.
The other side goes down the list of items included.
Frozen Treat Scratch n Sniff Forever Stamps x6 - Total Retail Value $3.00
You read that right- these stamps are scratch n sniff and the first of their kind! I love that Postmark'd Studio keeps me up-to-date with the latest stamps that are out. They smell really sweet n fruity!
Melt Away Card - Retail Value $5.50
The first card features five different illustrated ice cream treats and says "You Make My Problems Melt Away". Keep this one around for someone who helped you out of a jam. I'm thankful that my friends are always willing to lend me a hand when I need it, so this card is great for a number of them!
"You're My Flavorite" Card - Retail Value $5.00
Do you have a favorite ice cream flavor? How about a favorite person? I love the "golden milk" coconut ice cream from my local ice cream shop, Millie's, but I'd be hard-pressed to choose a favorite person in my life. This letterpress card has a heaping helping of brightly colored ice cream in a cone that will surely brighten someone's day.
Ice Cream Paperclip
This ice cream paperclip was also clipped to the card though I'm not sure if it just came from Postmark'd Studio or what. Either way, this is a cute little addition to the box!
"Orange You the Coolest" Card - Retail Value $5.00
I'm not a fan of creamsicles myself, but this bright orange and dark blue card has a really cool colorway going on. The message states "Orange You the Coolest" for you to send to your most chill bud. I think I'll be sending this to my friend Beth in Seattle who loves ice cream more than anyone I know!
Sweet Treat Birthday Card
This unique letterpress card has hot pink lettering that says "A sweet treat for your special day" and "Happy Birthday!" around a big ol' ice cream cone with a candle stuck in it. There's a small blue envelope tucked into it to hold cash or a gift card for the recipient! You can write your message on the front or back of the card before putting it inside the letterpress envelope that's included. Such a cute idea!
"Life's Sweeter With You" Card - Retail Value $5.00
The next card has two bright watercolor style popsicles on the front that says "Life's Sweeter With You". It's always a good idea to let our friends and loved ones that we appreciate them, so sending this "popsicle cheers" card over to them will let them know you're glad they're around.
Ice Cream Truck Postcard - Retail Value $1.57
The first of two postcards this month conjures up summer memories of ice cream trucks cruising the streets on a hot day. Along with the ice cream truck is the phrase "The only running I do is after the ice cream truck, babe". I concur.
Neapolitan Ice Cream Sandwich Postcard
The second postcard and final card of the month is this really cute ice cream sandwich that happens to be filled with Neapolitan ice cream. Scribble out a quick note to send to a friend on a blazing hot summer day this month or keep it as a print!
Ice Lolly Notes & Pencil - Retail Value $15.25
The final item is probably my favorite this month but isn't a card at all. It's a sticky note pad shaped like a popsicle! The stick you hold it with is actually a little pencil. Eeeee. It didn't come sharpened, but I had a sharpener around like all good stationery freaks do. I'm actually really impressed with the stickiness of these sheets and the fact that there are 1,000 of them in red, orange, green, and yellow. Perfect for labeling things or keeping your place in a book!
Verdict: Postmark'd Studio's PostBox made me scream for ice cream this month with all of their delectable well-curated ice cream cards. I can't wait to send out a fleet of chilly greetings to my pals this month to remind them to get out there and get a sweet treat for themselves.
