July 2018 No Make No Life Box Review

The booklet list gives you information on each item, as well as instructions for how to use each product.

Dessert Mask - Mint Orange

This dessert mask was a variant item and I received the Mint Orange. This is supposed to help tighten and soften your skin. I never notice much of a tightening effect after one use of a product but this did leave my skin very moisturized and soft. I tend to use milder skin products but this didn’t irritate my skin at all and the fruit scent wasn’t overwhelming.

Dodo Double Color Eyeshadow Crayon

As you can see, my eyeshadow crayon came slightly smushed. This wasn't too hard to smooth out so it wasn't the end of the world. I'm not really a purple eyeshadow person but I do love the convenience of a crayon, especially in the summer when I want my makeup to travel easily. I find myself using the white side for more of a highlight and inner corner brightening product. The colors mixed together also create a wearable lilac shade.

Argan Hair Oil

I'm a fan of argan oil so I wasn't excited to see this. The bottle is pretty and you do get a nice amount of product. I have thick hair that can dry out, especially in the summer, so this is being put to good use! The scent is a little floral and a little citrusy. My only complaint is that this isn't a new or hard to find product for me, this is a pretty standard hair product I keep around.

Brush Styling Sheet

This is definitely a new product for me! I’ve seen hair smoothing sheets before but I haven’t tried them out or seen them attached to brushes. The sheet has a lot of little holes that allows you to place it over your brush bristles. The ease of that move probably depends on what type of brush you have but I was able to place this over my oval brush without any problems. The sheet contains collagen, ceramics, and hydrolyzed silk. This is supposed to help tame your hair and give it a healthy sheen. This did have a nice effect on my hair, smoothing it a bit and it did give the slightest sheen. This box came with 10 sheets and I used two to take care of all my hair.

Venus Spa Sakura Fragrance Stick

This product was immediately a hit for me because I love keeping fragrance sticks in my purse. The packaging is really adorable and I love seeing it every time I reach for it in my purse. The scent felt very fresh and slightly sweet. Definitely a spring or summer vibe.

Verdict: No Make No Life is always a fun box to open. My favorite products are always things I can't easily find on my own, like the brush sheets and fragrance stick. I think they do a good job of including makeup, skincare, hair, bath, and tools in each box. The makeup product this month wasn’t my favorite and the hair oil isn’t a new product for me but I have been using both. I really like the sakura fragrance stick and the brush sheets were fun to try out.
