Facetory is a monthly sheet mask facial subscription. The company aims to provide its members with the latest cult faves from the Korean sheet mask trend. Rather than arriving in a box, like the SEVEN LUX subscription, this smaller FOUR-ever Fresh version comes in a cool pouch that has the same awesome design. Love their packaging!

facetory 4 unboxing

This is a review of the FOUR-ever Fresh subscription level ($5.95 per month + shipping), which includes 4 curated sheet masks made from traditional fabrics like cotton and cellulose. They also offer a SEVEN LUX subscription level, which includes 7 curated sheet masks with slightly higher-functioning ingredients (think hydrogels and other more sophisticated ingredients).

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

facetory 4 instructions

Facetory sends a little info card along with their masks to explain the significance of each formula. This is particularly helpful with masks that don't have a lot of English on their packaging!

I also got a coupon code to use on the Facetory shop!

facetory 4 rose mask

Botanic Farm Rose Mask - Listed Value $2.50

According to the card, this mask contains rose centifolia flower water for cleansing, green tea extract for anti-aging, and niacinamide to help encourage an even, smooth skin tone. I like how quickly the watery serum absorbed into my skin. It didn't quite moisturize my skin, but the mask did leave my skin feeling a bit more toned. The one surprise was that this mask didn't smell quite as rosy as I thought it would. Instead, the fragrance is more of a clean soapy smell.

Yahdah Soothing Mask Pack - Listed Value $3.00

Skin-soothing honeysuckle and antioxidant-rich portulaca oleracea extract are the key ingredients in this cotton mask. My skin felt lighter and more refreshed after using this mask than it did after the first one, but I still wasn't getting quite as much of the plumping, hydrating feeling my skin craves from sheet masks. I will say my skin felt a bit softer and calmer, though!

facetory 4 ampule mask pack

facetory 4 back of ampule mask

Medius Ampule Synergy Mask - Listed Value $3.00

Now, this is more like it! This mask has a much thicker consistency that gave my skin the deep, cooling moisture it needed. The mask contains hyaluronic acid, which I know from my experience with other skincare products is really effective in nourishing my skin. The mask also includes grapefruit extract for glow and tone and trehalose to help my skin retain the moisture it soaked up.

facetory 4 berry mask

Nature Republic Real Nature Sheet Mask in Acai Berry - Listed Value $3.50

I've known for awhile that acai is a nutritional powerhouse, so it's not surprising that it's also great from an external, beauty-oriented perspective. According to the card, the acai in this mask fights aging, the arnica montana flower extract has antibacterial, antiseptic, and moisturizing properties, and the Gentiana lutea root extract helps soothe. This might be my favorite mask of the month, if simply for the creamier, almost lotion-like consistency of the serum. It left my skin feeling so soothed and nourished, similar to how my skin feels the morning after I do an overnight cream or mask.

Verdict: Facetory is a lot of fun if you're curious to discover new sheet mask brands. Personally, I've learned that my skin tends to prefer consistency over a variety of treatments. I kind of wish you got four of a new type of mask each month, rather than 4 different masks each month so that I could do repeat treatments of one formula. But getting a variety does mean that if I dislike one of the masks, I'm not stuck with it for a whole month! While I think the true effects of each formula are best gleaned over a period of repeat use, I do enjoy sheet masks as a fun one-off way to kick back and treat myself. In that sense, this sheet mask subscription is just right!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? As of writing this review, it looks like this assortment is still the active box! Sign up here.

Value Breakdown: The box costs a total of $8.90 after shipping. At the time of writing this review, the masks in the box weren't available on the Facetory site shop. Using the values listed for each mask on the info card, however, I came up with a total value of $12.00. That means the proportional cost of getting each mask via the subscription is:

  • Rose mask: $1.85
  • Soothing mask: $2.23
  • Ampoule mask: $2.23
  • Acai mask: $2.60
