Now, on to the items!

So Susan Cosmetics The Silhouette Eyeshadow Palette - Retail Value $45

This foiled eyeshadow palette is gorgeous! Excellent pigment and shimmer! (There is some fallout, so make sure to use a primer.)

Here are the shades swatched:

Stunning!

Jelly Pong Pong Cosmic Light in Flash - Retail Value $18

(Subscribers will either receive this shade or Strobe or Prism.)

This is a multi-use micro-shimmer powder. You can use it as a highlighter, eyeshadow, mix it in with body lotion for an all-over glow, or even use it on your hair.

Here it is swatched:

Jelly Puff  - Retail Value $8.99

This silicone makeup applicator gets a little sassy:

"Unless You Are a Jelly Puff, The Answer Is Yes, I Can Live Without You!"

This works for covering large areas with foundation, or you can also use it to apply skincare products. I’m a big fan of these silicone applicators since they are easy to clean, and no product gets absorbed into a sponge or brush! (The only product I’ve tried with a silicone applicator that didn’t work well is a self-tanner.)

Trifle Cosmetics Mango Frost - Retail Value $15

Hm, I'm going to have to reach out to So Susan about this product, I don't think it arrived in the right container:

No surprise, I couldn't get the product out with that sifter top! (If you received this month's bag, please let me know if your product had the same packaging issue!)

And each So Susan Color Curate comes with a new makeup bag:

Limited Edition Makeup Bag - Value $12

The bag is made of a spill-proof vinyl material with a fabric lining:

Verdict: This month's So Susan Lip Love bag has a value of about $98.99! I think that value is fantastic for a $21 ingredient-conscious makeup subscription box. Lip scrub issues aside, I thought this was a good product mix, too!

If you are looking for a vegan, ingredient-conscious makeup subscription, I can't recommend this one enough. The value is great, the formulas are great, and the bonus bag is always super cute!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. If you sign up in June, the June box will be your first box.

This sub migrated to another platform and began charging me $30/month (as a regular subscriber.) That’s crazy that I can sign up today on CrateJoy for $21 still…

Interesting. I got an email from So Susan a couple of months back that it would go up to $30 on cratejoy, and I think it did last month. (I am sure it did because I pointed it out to Liz, and I checked on cratejoy multiple times before posting.) But it was still 20.95 if you went straight through so susan’s website to subscribe. Interesting that it’s back to 20.95 on cratejoy.

The jelly puff is supposed to say “unless you’re a PIZZA,” which I thought was cute because I like pizza, but it a actually says “unless you’re a jelly puff,” which is meaningless to me because I don’t like jelly puffs.

Also, this apparently bills out of the UK, so even though it bills in USD, my credit card still charges me a foreign transaction fee. (Fortunately, that’s only 20 cents for me, or 1%, but I can imagine some other people might be getting hit with a high fee than that.)

I love the bag!

Looks like Boxycharm’s Blinc palette.

I love that Blinc palette

Only item that looks full size is the eye shadow palette. The rest looks pretty small.

How did I miss this? Love that eyeshadow. And I actually love the bag colors and back of the bag too. I have a lip scrub like the one you received Liz from a previous bag and mine does not have the three hole stopper. That’s more for loose shadow or loose pigments like the above Cosmic Light.

Thanks for letting me know – probably just a one-off mistake, then!

i also received the mango frost with the hole stopper lid that I cannot remove.

Bella01

Or I should say the hole stopper.
