This is honestly one of my favorite boxes to open. It always smells divine and the presentation is beautiful.

Peachy Box May 2018 Review

This month, everything about feeling luxe, because we deserve it!

Peachy Box includes an info card with descriptions and values of the contents and the theme for the month. This month’s theme is “Luxe, because you deserve it”. A variety of products is included to make you feel fancy.

Peachy Box always includes some bonus items (not counted toward total value). This month they sent a promo code for 25 free square prints from Parabo Press and a code for the first month of a Beau Undies subscription for free. You do have to pay shipping for the undies. I ended up paying $3 shipping for the first month with this code. The undies certainly look luxe, so I’m excited to receive them.

Botanic Farm Soft Cover Pore Balm Primer, 20g – Retail Value $18 (Listed Value $38)

Oops, I think there was a typo on the info card in regards to the retail value of this product. This is a dimethicone based primer that comes in a stiff, balm formula. My recommendation is to scrape a little out and warm it on the back of your hand. Then, it smoothes on like silk to fill in pores and instantly blur skin. This helps my makeup glide on even over dry patches and even looks great on its own to blur shine and give skin a velvety texture. It doesn’t have the spreadability of a liquid primer so it might be best for spot priming areas that need the most smoothing.

The Innate Life Rose Hair Elixir, 30ml, 1oz

The Innate Life Rose Hair Elixir, 30ml, 1oz – Retail Value $32

I like to work a hair oil into the ends of my dry waves for my 2nd and 3rd (maybe 4th) day hair. This oil smells like rosehip oil with a hint of spice and is made of 15 organic oils so it’s super nourishing. I’m so impressed that it sinks in instantly even when applied to skin. The glass bottle looks good on my vanity (we know that is important) and even has a dosed dropper. I think the price is on the high side but you only need a tiny bit at a time so it will last for a while.

Organicare 24k Gold Bath Bomb – Retail Value $10, Listed Value $12

I think this is the heaviest bath bomb I’ve ever held! It must be packed with all kinds of goodness! It smells like heaven – floral with notes of fruit and sandalwood – and gives bath water a gold shimmer. The ingredients are simple and soothing (as long as you’re not allergic to any, obviously) and it left my skin feeling comfortable and soft. I think I need one of those wooden bath trays since I’m loving spending more time relaxing in the bath lately.

Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream, 50ml -

Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream, 50ml – Estimated Value $25

I’ve read about this product before and reviews have been mixed. Everyone’s always attracted to the packaging, which is so cute. I mean, look at that tiny spatula! I’ve had a good experience with this moisturizer and my dry skin. The scent isn’t my favorite but it dissipates quickly. The consistency is like a gel-cream and instantly makes my skin feel hydrated and super smooth. It performs beautifully under makeup too. I don’t think it’s quite rich enough for winter but for warm, humid weather it is perfect for me.

Bee Lucia Lavender & Amethyst Candle, 7oz -

Bee Lucia Lavender & Amethyst Candle, 7oz – Retail Value $24.95

Speaking of relaxing, a beautiful candle is included to fill your room with the scent of lavender and lemongrass. The top layer is sprinkled with amethyst crystal chunks to help ground and calm. Clean burning beewax and coconut oil make up this candle and help to clarify the air by releasing negative ions when burned.

Anita Ko Organics Cleansing Grains Sample Duo – Another Bonus Item (Not counted toward total value)

These are great size sample to introduce subscribers to these multi-tasking clay powders. You mix 1 tsp of the cleansing grains with water or a facial toner to form a paste that can be used as a cleanser or mask. They are unscented (they smell like clay) so they should be suitable for sensitive skin. These provide a deep clean and gentle exfoliation. I don’t think I can use them everyday but are perfect for when I want to take a little extra time for myself and need a skin clarifying treatment. Bonus – if you love them, the full-size price is pretty good on the Etsy store.

Verdict: Peachy Box’s “Luxe” is another beautiful, well-curated box. I love that there are items from different categories like home, skincare, beauty, and hair care that center around a theme. I’ve noticed a concentration on quality, natural products from US-based small businesses for several months and I love it. This is such a great gift subscription because it is beautifully packaged and thoughtfully curated with full-size products. I calculated a retail value of about $110 which is good for a cost of $34.99 with free shipping.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the June box. This subscription service will be ending as of 7/1.

  1. I’m just learning of this box, and too late. I’m sorry they have ended. I hope something will start again if they’ve been sold. I would have enjoyed this box.

  2. So gutted this is ending. Really looked forward to these boxes and loved every single item 🙁 please reconsider

  3. They sent an official closing email today.

They have the May & June box for sale on their site and the LE Mother’s Day box is available too. the code JUSTPEACHY is active now too.

  4. I reached out to Peachy Box and they will be ending with June. Apparently they have been sold. Why not tell subscribers though and let them know

  5. I contacted their customer service and received a link to the May box. Paid $25 after the coupon code + then shipping cost. Good price for this box with the extras.

    • I just purchased this box from the online shop. I’ve never subscribed to them ongoing but I have purchased a box here and there. I’ve always been happy with them. I think the quality and value is definitely good. I’m sorry to see them go.

  6. Looks like the message about the subscription service ending july 1 has been removed from the review. I hope it was a misunderstanding!

    • No it is still there.

  7. Where are you ladies finding their store? I can’t find it on their website.

  8. I am really sad to hear that they are ending, I haven’t been notified by them directly yet and I just signed up for a 6 month sub last month because I loved this box so much :-(. I wonder what they will do for those of us with prepaid months.

    • I contacted their customer service and they said they are ending and that prepaid subscriptions would be refunded on original method of payment on the 15th with funds available on 18th. I’m watching my statement as I, too, had a 6 month subscription.

  9. Peachy Box isn’t ending. Subscriptions are still active. Billing dates have changed that’s it

    • Then why can’t ppl sign up?

    • Why would they reach out to MSA and say that they’re ending the sub, if they’re not ending…….?

  10. The promo code didn’t work and shipping is $5. Anyone have a working promo code?

    • Hi! PeachyBox just re-activated JUSTPEACHY and it can be used for products in their shop (since boxes are currently sold out). Hope that helps! – Sara

  11. I have a prepaid subscription so I’m interested in finding out if they are going to honor current subscriptions or not

  12. Darn was thinking about subscribing.

  13. The May Peachy box is still available as a one time purchase for $34.99 same as subscription price. It’s under Past Boxes.

  14. Tell me it isn’t true….
    Ending, seriously?
I ve been so happy with the two boxes I got, this became my favorite subscription. So much so I was coming to cancel the other three I sub to. Sigh…….

    • Samesies, one of my favorites so far. Guess I’ll have to settle for other 10+ I have subbed. 🤐

      • Do have any thoughts on another sub that is similar to this one?

  15. Liz, can you clarify if this box is ending or not? It’ll impact whether people choose to sign up. Thanks!

    • The June box is sold out and it looks like the subscription is marked sold out too. They aren’t taking any more subscriptions, but you can purchase a May box in their store as a one time purchase.

  16. I didn’t hear anything about it ending, and recently signed up for a three month subscription. Do you know how they will handle that? Thanks.

  17. I am surprised to see that this is ending. May was my 3rd box and the only notification that I received from them was about the change date for billing.

  18. On no!! They are shutting down!? I was going to subscribe to them! I guess they must not have had enough subscribers to keep it going. I’m sad, they have really great boxes.

  19. Great review. I look forward to my Peachy Box every month. I love this moisturizer
