Lootaku is an international geek box that ships worldwide from Hong Kong! They promise 4-6 high-quality geek and gamer items - no filler or promo items of any kind.

Lootaku sent us this box for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Our March box arrived after the April box for us - so the reviews are out of order a bit.

Lootaku has a shiny new box design! While it's still the same concept, it looks like going from XBox 360 to XBox One.

May 2018 Lootaku "Master, Father, & Son" Review

The May Lootaku features the biggest statue we've received in a subscription box!

Each month includes a detailed information card with information on each item - including item values based on online price at the time of curation.

Banpresto Grandista Resolution of Soldiers Bardock - Value $40 on BigBadToyStore

Just taking a peek at my favorite online toy store, BigBadToyStore, shows that they have yet to even receive this item in stock - that's awesome to get it in Lootaku!

Bardock is HUGE! The status stands almost a foot tall and comes with all of that fantastic details and paintwork that I've come to expect from Banpresto.

Banpresto Dragon Ball Super DFX The Super Warriors Special Goku (Ultra Instinct) - Value $30 on BigBadToyStore

Once again, this statue is only available for preorder on BBTS! While this is smaller than the Bardock statue - I think this one has some great detail.

Goku is looking awesome in this Banpresto sculpt. All of the details totally pop with the paint job - right up to the silver hair. Goku stands about 7 inches tall when constructed.

Muten Roshi Kame Aerobics Scarf - Value $15 on card

Master Roshi is featured this month as well - for the first time, I believe, in a Lootaku box. The martial arts master is doing a bit of aerobics on this fleece scarf.

Goku & Gohan Pin - Value $11

Finally, this month includes the first exclusive Lootaku pin. While they value it at $11, I typically value a pin at this size between $5-10 - but $11 isn't way out in left field by any means. It's a high-quality enamel pin that is limited to only 500 made.

Verdict: This box is always about the statues and vinyl figures - and this month had some of the best statues ever. The scarf and pin were nice, but I'm always in it for the vinyl!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You'll find the current theme on the landing page.
