Kloverbox Natural Beauty Subscription Box May 2018 Review
Here's the info card for this month's box.
Cypress Skincare Lash Love, 11 ml - Retail Value $45.00
This blend of castor and hemp oils can be used on lashes or eyebrows to help those hairs become longer and stronger. Something about this blend irritated my sensitive eyes just a little bit, but I'm totally going to use this product on my brows!
The Innate Life Rose Hair Elixir, 10 ml - Retail Value $15.00
This oil contains rose otto essential oil, sea buckthorn oil, rosehip oil, and black cumin seed oil to soothe and protect hair from damage. One function I love is that it also works as a heat protectant. It kept my ends from getting all dry and sad after a hearty straightening session!
Exclusive Boho Chic Cosmetics Cosmetics Bag - Listed Value $10.00
This bag is so cute! According to the info card, the bag was made with "eco-fabric and organic cotton". I love the colors and playful patterns. It's about the size of a big index card, so it's not the biggest makeup bag in the world. That's actually a good thing for me—I need some limits on how much stuff I end up bringing with me in my purse! This would be great for whatever staples I need for a night out.
Boho Chic Cosmetics Rose Setting Powder - Listed Value $4.50
This product is available on the Boho Chic Cosmetics website, but I'm not sure how much this small pot holds. (It's not noted anywhere.) My gut says it's the "Sample" size, but they don't say how much is in the sample online, plus the price given for the sample online is $2.00, which is different than the listed value. I don't use setting powder very often, but it is handy to have over the summer! This powder is fragrance-free and light as a feather. A little goes a long way, in my opinion. It wasn't as smooth as some more commercial products I've tried (at Sephora, etc.), but I do love the idea of having a natural option to work with.
Verdict: This bundle of products seemed a little underwhelming when I first opened the box—everything is on the small side, so it was all kind of rolling around the box! But everything was really nice quality and made my skin and hair feel fab. I wish the lash serum agreed with my eyes a little better, but my eyes are typically really particular with treatments and things like that. All in all, I'm happy with these goodies, especially when I consider that the lash serum alone cost almost twice the cost of the box!

Value Breakdown: The box cost $25.00, but I estimate that I received $74.50 in value. I couldn't find reliable values for two of the four items in the box, but the average price paid to get each item via the box is approximately $6.25.
