Halo Legendary Crate is a new crate from Loot Crate. This box focuses on the Halo gaming franchise and delivers 5-7 collectibles, apparel, and in-game contact every two months.

The April box arrived around mid-May for us. They’re getting better with shipping across a lot of their crates, so I’m hoping this will be next to get sorted out.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

April 2018 “Arena” Halo Legendary Crate Review

This month’s Halo crate came with two wearables – a shirt and hat – along with the customary pin, Halo Icons figure, and a beach towel.

The information sheet is a 17×11, rolled up poster on one side.

And you can find the item details on the back. You’ll also find a code for your monthly Req Pack.

This month’s REQ Pack includes custom weapon skins, armor, helmet set, and emblem.

Sniper Rifle Pin – Value $5?

This month continues their weaponry pin set with the Sniper Rifle pin. I scored the gold variant this time! Did you get the gold variant?

UNSC Data Drop – Value ?

Each month also always arrives with this UNSC data drop top secret folder.

I always thought this was a nice way to tie in-game scenarios into the crate each month – and sometimes, like this month, it’ll include something frameable, too. Overall – I’ve always treated this as a little bonus item for the box.

Arena Concert Shirt – Value $15?

With a theme like ‘Arena’, it does feel like the perfect time to include a Hap “tour” shirt!

The back includes “tour dates”, too. I really love the simplicity of the front design – it’s one of my favorite Halo shirts from this box so far.

Halo Icons Spartan Champion Figure – Value $25?

My favorite part of any geek box is typically the vinyl figures – I’m just a collector at heart – the Halo line is one of the best totally-exclusive lines going, in my opinion. This month includes a Spartan Champion figure.

They typically only arrive in two pieces – the base and the figure.

I love the strafing design of the figure – everything just pops for this one!

Capture The Flag Towel – Value $15-20?

You’ll get a 53×29 inch beach towel design after the blue team’s flag from the capture the flag multiplayer mode!

The towel has a nice terrycloth feel to it. It’s thin but feels like it’ll be absorbent for the beach. I also just love the design, it brings me back to my friend popping in the first Halo and showing me Capture The Flag – so it has a little nostalgia for me.

UNSC Black Hat – Value $15?

The final item is a UNSC hat. One thing you should know about me is that I LOVE black-on-black designs – so this hat is speaking my language for sure.

It’s a snapback hat, so one size should fit most.

This is one of the best hat designs in my opinion – love that look.

Verdict: This month was a huge win for me – the items really fight my aesthetic in terms of the wearable items. On top of that, the figure was fantastic and the towel had a nostalgic kick for me. All in all, great month!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? No, the current theme can be found on their landing page – sing up before June 15th to get the June box.

COUPON – Save 10% off any length subscription, or $3 off month-to-month with coupon code ADDICTION or SAVE3

  1. I got this crate for my husband, and it took FOREVER to get here- but I think it was worth it in the end! I was pleasantly surprised with the items- they were all very practical (I even wish I had the hat and towel) and he liked all of the items. Great crate this time around!
