EBY Underwear Subscription June 2018 Review

When you sign up for this subscription, you will take a short quiz to determine your underwear style and select your delivery frequency:

This is the size guide provided by EBY.

Other than the panties, the only thing included in the box is a foldout card explaining their mission, the brand, and a few other tidbits of information. This card is the same month to month – so this is the 6th time I’ve received it. For a company so eco-focused they don’t send a packing slip – I find it strange that they can’t take the time to update the insert, and include a new story, profile, or something different to read.

EBY Brief Panty in Nude – Retail Value $16.00 (available by subscription only)

EBY doesn’t use elastic or seams, instead, they use a special fabric that smoothly shapes your EBY undies to your body, and eliminates all traces of panty lines.

Here’s a closer photo of their “seamless seam.”

These undies are made in Sri Lanka out of 85% polyamide and 15% Elastane and have 100% cotton lining, which is a must for me!

EBY recommends hand washing in cold water, air drying flat to dry to preserve the integrity of the panty. I’m totally ignoring the care instructions – and washing with my other undergarments on a normal cycle, with warm water, in a washing machine. I am also tossing them in the dryer on normal, and they’re holding up just fine.

I like the nude color, especially for summer/sundress season! Excuse the wrinkles in the photos, the care directions instruct not to iron the fabric, so I didn’t want to cause them any damage!

Verdict: Although I like these panties, and the way they fit, this subscription is boring. I don’t feel like they have a good selection of items, and I receive almost the same exact pair of undies every month. It’s always just a basic, solid color pair in a pretty standard color choice.

On me, these panties do stay in place and do not show a line. I don’t have bunching, rolling, or slipping issues.

For value, you’re paying $16 for a single pair of undies that are very similar to the no-show/seamless line from Victoria’s Secret (running 5 for $28.50 or $5.70 each).

To end on a positive note – I do like the practical convenience of having new undies delivered to my door monthly, the quality of the product, and the fact that a portion of that money is going to help other women achieve their goals.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Since you will likely have different profile answers, you may not get the exact pair. However, I’ve not seen much variety – and question how many colors they really have produced in each cut – so there’s a decent chance you’ll get them in your box! You should receive your box about a week after you sign up.

Coupon – Get a FREE extra pair of undies in your first box! ($16 value) No coupon required, just link here!

Value Breakdown: At $16.00 for this box, you’re paying $16.00 for a pair of undies, but helping to fund someone’s dream.

Colette’s subscription addiction started innocently enough with a few beauty boxes in 2013. As her life has evolved, so have her subscriptions – and some of her favorites now include boxes that cater towards lifestyle (Popsugar Must Have), pets (BarkBox), and children (Gap Outfit Box and Mac & Mia).

  1. This is the WORST COMPANY I’ve ever been connected with. Absolutely no customer service, no responses to emails and NO PHONE to escalate issues, problems. BUYER BEWARE

  2. Wow, that was a lot of shade to a sub that actually has a mission and whose products do what they say they will! I’ve seen more expensive panty subscriptions, with less usefulness, get all sorts of props. Of course these are kinda boring…they’re meant to not be seen! I do see why you would question the usefulness of a subscription model if there isn’t much variety month to month, for sure. But I kinda can’t understand why yall continue reviewing this only to seem to say the same exact thing every single month, getting meaner and meaner each time. (Ok, maybe I’m a big Sophia Vergara fan? Or maybe I have to rep for brown women doing fantastic things of quality for other brown women…)

  3. Be careful with this sub. While I really like the cause and msg, when I found the bikini style did not fit my body I chose to skip a month (as a customer service rep said they would roll out a “choose the style you receive soon). They did not honor the skip, system glitch or something. Then I requested to cancel thinking I would resub after they have more flexibility as I cannot afford to throw away $16 panties no matter how good the cause. This month they charged and shipped again despite my cancellation confirmation.
I think the sub has potential but they need to realize some bodies don’t fit in some styles, and some of the colors get dull to people. I hope they re-invent themselves and allow for more customization that you can do online.

    • Agree. They have some room to grow, for sure.
