Good to Know: This box will occasionally include skin tone specific makeup like BB creams and foundation, so when you subscribe you choose between light beige and dark beige. However, KoKoStyle acknowledges that doesn't work for everyone:
“Korean makeup can be quite limited for darker skin tones. If you use a darker foundation, please send us a message and we will put an alternative item of the same value in your box.”

This box comes with an info sheet with instructions (in English!) on how to use the products. I always appreciate the English descriptions, especially on a box that ships directly from Korea.
Nature Republic Real Comforting Sheet Mask (AHA/BHA) - Retail Value $0.81
This sheet mask fit my face well and I do think I saw a small difference in the texture of my skin after using it at the end of a particularly long and stressful skin. After taking the mask off the excess serum absorbed pretty quickly into my skin without leaving it feeling sticky.
MemeBox I’m Meme I’m Eyeshadow in Shine Deep Brown - Estimated Value $5 (buy a 10-shadow palette for $24.90)
I couldn't find the individual eyeshadows from this brand anywhere — they may be a product exclusive to the Korean market! I loved the design imprinted on the surface of the eyeshadow, and this deep brown would be great for the outer contour of your eye in a smokey eye. See me wearing it below!
Etude House Oh My Lash Top Coat, Full Size! - Retail Value $5.20
One of the things I love about this box is each month there is always a new product that I have never seen before. This top coat will turn any mascara glossy and provide a water-resistant coating, which will be extra useful as the summer temperatures heat up and my makeup tries to melt off my face. I love that I can use this in combination with my current mascaras for the best mascara combo possible.
Nature Republic Pure Bud Relief Cream, 1.35 - Retail Value $25.99
This is a very lightweight moisturizer designed specifically for sensitive skin! It has a very light floral scent to it, which I believe is from the blackcurrant buds used in this cream. Though my skin isn't too sensitive, this may be my new morning moisturizer because it is so lightweight and left my skin feeling heavenly soft. I have been consistently using the whipping cream that I got as a bonus in last months box, and my skin has truly been looking incredible. I am excited to see what my skin will be like as I use this as my everyday moisturizer.
Skin79 Super + Beblesh Balm, 7 g - Retail Value $6.90
This is a great lightweight BB cream, and it matches my skin tone perfectly! It really gives me a natural look that I absolutely love (maybe Meghan Markle used this in her amazing wedding day makeup. Is anyone else still dying over the perfection that was the Royal Wedding? Just me?). I also love that this has SPF in it because I need all the sun protection I can get. I only wish we had gotten this in the full-size version— this may be one of the better BB creams I have ever used!
Nature Republic Gel Eyeliner in Black, 4 g - Retail Value $11.90
Nature Republic has been featured pretty heavily this month, but I am not mad about it because I have been enjoying everything! Normally this box includes a face mask not featured on the info sheet, but this month the eyeliner was what wasn't on the info sheet. This eyeliner has a beautiful consistency and applies like a dream. You know that part in Mulan where she is getting ready to go see the matchmaker, and the person applying her makeup just brushes on eyeliner flawlessly? This totally could be the eyeliner that made Mulan’s eyes look fierce.

KoKoStyle will send a free gift to the best photo posted on social media using the hashtag #kokoboxkorea. Full Disclosure: I am the only person on Instagram who posted a photo using that hashtag during the month of April (that wasn’t KoKoStyle), so I think I was the winner by default rather than them choosing me because I am a reviewer. That being said, I love this portable mirror that was included, which will be great for keeping at my desk at work for touchups. I was excited to see the lipstick we got last month in a different color because I love the moisturizing formula (and this pink is really pretty!). I don't include the bonus in the overall value of the box, but if you subscribe I definitely recommend using their hashtag on social media so you can get extra products!
Here is the overall look I did using the box! I used the Skin79 BB cream all over and used the eyeshadow all over my eyelids. I lined my eyes as close to the lash line as possible, applied mascara, and then finished with the mascara top coat.
Verdict: KoKoStyle is quickly becoming one of my favorite monthly boxes. Each month I am delighted by the fun and unique products included, and I love that so many of the products are full-sized (especially the skincare!). If you are looking for a new K-Beauty box, I highly recommend this one. I calculated a value of $55.80, which is well above the $29.99 cost of the box.
