Gwynnie Bee May 2018 Review
This review is of the 3 items at a time subscription from 4/21 through 5/20.
This was easily the most stylish dress I wore all month! Look at how cute it is! I love the knot sleeves. This polyester dress was a big hit at work as well.
Although this dress is a slinky, stretchy poly/spandex blend, the cut was such that it hangs a bit like a tent. It’s kind of shapeless. I love the colors and the print, though! And actually, once I paired it with a black cardigan, it had the appearance of having a shape. I really wish that it hit at or above the knee like it does on the model on Gwynnie Bee’s website, though. I think that would make it look a lot cuter.
This lightweight, poly blend jacket was officially my favorite piece all month! The print and colors are absolutely perfect for spring! The tie in the front has a casual feel to it, but the collar makes it definitely dressy enough to wear to work. I wore this on a business trip to Los Angeles, and I actually felt really stylish and good in it!
I am not usually a big fan of INC International Concepts, but this top is just stunning! I felt really pretty and maybe even a bit sexy in this top! It’s a cotton knit with gorgeous embroidery. I love the colors! I also like the 3/4 sleeves with a small bell opening. So beautiful!
I don’t often wear shirt dresses, but I really liked wearing this one a lot! It’s made of crepe, which means it stretched and moved well without getting baggy anywhere. I thought it looked really pretty and professional. I really like the printed yoke across the back!
The Verdict: I love Gwynnie Bee! I kept my pieces a little longer than usual, so I didn’t get as many, but I really liked everything I received this month! Another cool thing about Gwynnie Bee that I wanted to mention this month is how great it is to take their pieces with me when I am traveling. As long as I remember to take a return bag with me, I can just throw it all in the mail before I leave. That means I don’t have to carry it back with me, which makes my suitcase just that much lighter!
