Graze 8 Snack Variety Box Review #2 + Free Box Coupon – April 2018
Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Graze offers over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences. Some subscribers spend time choosing preferences, noting which options they want to try, think they would like, or “trash” and prefer not to receive. Each Graze box may look completely different!
For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to “trash” snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.
Boxes are shipped via USPS and are conveniently designed to fit in most standard mailboxes.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Graze April 2018 Review
This month’s box came with two coupons: One for 20% of Keurig products and one for $30 off your first Hello Fresh order. Awesome!
Graze includes a handy pamphlet that lists all of the nutritional values for each month’s snacks as well. Super helpful.
And, here they are…the snacks!
Peanut Butter & Jelly, 1.52 oz – Buy a pack of 6 for $8.99
This snack is one of my favorites from Graze! (I’ve received it before.) The baked salted peanuts, raspberry strings, and vanilla fudge make the perfect sweet and salty combo. If you love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, this is a really great lighter-on-the-carbs option for you.
Cinnamon Pretzel, 1.5 oz – Currently Out of Stock
I love crunch, and, of course, pretzels, so this pack was a real winner for me. The poppyseed pretzels and caramelized honey-coated almonds both have a satisfying crunch, and the cinnamon almonds add a subtle spice.
Sweet and Spicy Beet Crunch, 0.81 oz – Buy a pack of 6 for $8.99
It’s always nice to mix things up with a savory option, but this one wasn’t my favorite. I love beets as well as spicy flavors, so the name and description were both appealing to me. Instead of the flavor-packed snack that I was expecting, this was quite bland. You do get a nice earthiness from the beet chips, but the overall combination could use a little something else.
Peach Cobbler, 1.6 oz – Buy a pack of 6 for $8.99
Another favorite! The peach fruit drops and amaretti drops really define the strong peach pie flavor here. Also mixed in are almond slivers and yogurt-covered sunflower seeds. I really enjoyed that the seeds are coated with a little extra sweetness. This one sort of tastes like you are eating candy.
Apple & Carrot Defense Smoothie, 1.41 oz – Buy a pack of 6 for $8.99
Inspired by juice, this fruity mix has all the flavor that you’d find in your morning smoothie. Raspberry chia bites, carrot chews, soft dried apple pieces, and blanched almonds make for a hearty, healthy blend.
Active Nutrient Blend – No Longer Available Online
With walnuts, dates, and pumpkin seeds, this energy boosting blend is full of vitamins and minerals. Dates are one of my favorite sweet ingredients to get that dessert feel without the added processed sugar. This one would make a great pick-me-up for the middle of a workday, but it appears that it’s no longer listed as an option on the Graze website.
Vanilla Pear Energiser, 1.23 oz – Buy a pack of 6 for $8.99
The pumpkin seeds in this snack mix have been caramelized with honey — really sets this blend apart! The almonds also really balance the sharpness of the dried fruit, and I loved the mix of textures.
Jelly Doughnut, 1.06 oz – Buy a pack of 6 for $8.99
Another tried and true favorite. Lots of repeats in this box, but considering that they’re some of the snacks I enjoy the most… I don’t mind! This fruity mix features raspberry strings (they have a jelly, fruit roll-up texture), vanilla cookie drops, raspberry cranberries, and almonds. If you grab a piece of each component per mouthful, the resulting taste is unquestionably VERY jelly doughnut with only 120 calories.
Verdict: I enjoyed receiving some familiar favorites in this month’s box! This monthly subscription includes 8 snacks for $13.99, which breaks down to $1.75 each. While it would have been nice to get an extra snack or two for the price, I appreciate the convenience of receiving eight to sample in one shipment. Even though I appreciated the repeats from past boxes, I also would have liked to see more savory options.
