The BAM! Horror Box February 2018 Review

This month’s box includes items from Jigsaw, IT, My Bloody Valentine, and House of 1000 Corpses/ Devil’s Rejects.

This sheet gives info on this month’s box and also regarding the BAM! Community where you can trade items, enter contests, get the latest BAM! news, and meet fellow horror fiends and Bammers! It also foreshadows what is in store for the March box! Holy smokes! I am truly excited to see what is featured. I would love anything featured from the cult hits mentioned, but especially Pet Sematary, Trick ‘r Treat, and The Return of the Living Dead!

Laura Vandervoort of Jigsaw Autographed Photo

This month included a signed photograph of Anna of Jigsaw played by Laura Vandervoort. There were three variants of photos signed. Also included in some of the boxes was a rare movie poster insert. I didn’t receive the insert this time around.

The Bloody Heart from My Bloody Valentine

Okay, guys, I love this 80s classic movie, I do. However, I do not love this replica piece. It looks like a craft project gone awry I would have done in my teens after a horrendously, bad break up. Quality is just meh, to say the least.

BAM! Box Exclusive “Captain Spaulding” Fan Art Collection Print by Artist, LVB

This print features Captain Spaulding, the Firefly family patriarch, of House of 1,000 Corpses and Devil’s Rejects. The only thing that would have been better is if I had received the gasoline and fried chicken version of this print! It is too fantastic! This print is numbered and signed by the artist, LVB. The print also comes with a certificate of authenticity as well.

BAM! Box Exclusive “Georgie” Fan Art Legacy Collection Print by Artist, James Bousema

James Bousema did a Pennywise from IT print previously for BAM!. He is returning with this disturbing portrait of Bill Denbrough’s ill-fated little brother, Georgie. This print comes in two variants, the full-color print I received and a black and white version. I prefer the colored version, so this is a win, at least! This print also comes along with a certificate of authenticity like all art prints BAM! Horror includes in their boxes.

Verdict: This box was an even rougher follow up to the January box I reviewed. The items I liked best were the art prints. The Bloody Valentine heart replica this month was one of the most underwhelming items that BAM! Horror has sent in the boxes I have received so far. I truly hope that the March box ups its game big time!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the April box. From Bam!:

Your box will ship on the 28th of every month. Please order by 5 pm on the 17th to get the current box.

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $26.99 + $7.99 shipping, which means that each of the 6 items in the box has an average cost of $5.83.
