Splendies Women's Underwear Subscription March 2018 Review
Splendies Raspberry Cotton and White Lace Thong, size L
I went through a phase where I was wearing a lot of thongs to minimize any lines on my bum, but I slowly phased most of mine out, save a nude and black pair for when I wear a more form-fitting skirt of dress (which is rare). The first pair in the pack this month comes in the form of this pretty raspberry color that is 92% cotton and 8% elastic. I love cotton undies since they are so breathable and these are nice and soft. The elastic trim, lace, and bows at the front are all white. I shy away from lace most times because of my pointy acrylic nails which easily poke through when I'm pulling them on to ruin them. Unfortunately, these did not fit me, and even as a large which is what I normally wear, they were too tight in the waist.

I also shy away from light colored undies most times, but the pattern on these cream and red numbers is really pretty! It reminds me of fancy vintage wallpaper. They are trimmed in saucy red lace, but the lace at the sides is actually overlaid on the ultra-soft 86% polyamide 14% spandex material which would stop my nails from ruining them. Yay! Sadly though, these also were way too tight for me in the waist an legs and I thought they fit more like a medium.
Wilshire & Montana Intimates Neon Geometric Print Undies, size L
Ooooh, these are so cute! I love geometric patterns and tend to love fun pops of neon (especially in the summer). This pair has a really pretty almost periwinkle blue lace trim and little pink bow at the front. They also happen to be the softest pair of the bunch, made from 86% polyamide and 14% spandex like the last pair. Bonus: these actually fit! When I laid the other two pair on top of these flat, there was a full one-inch difference in the waist. 🙁
The Verdict: My first Splendies delivery was kind of a bummer since two of the three pairs didn't fit me (even though they were all labeled as large). That's certainly not uncommon since they sent three different brands and there is no standard sizing in clothing ever. In theory, three pair of undies for $13.99 is a pretty decent deal and it's fun to get surprise pairs of undies each month, I just wish I could ensure they'd fit. The quality is nice on all of the pairs so I just need better luck with fitting next month.
