Pet Treater Cat Pack April 2018 Review

There’s not a traditional information card with this subscription, but you get a couple of other inserts including a humorous sticker.

There was also a promotional card to get you to sign up for Pet Treater.

Sergeant’s Crazy Claws Flippy Fish

Sergeant’s Crazy Claws Flippy Fish

I could only find this on eBay and closeout sites (often the case with this brand). But, a dangly toy on a stick is a dangly toy on a stick and my cats are fans of those. This doesn’t have the most substantial wand portion (it’s kind of thin and bendy) but it didn’t break while we were playing with it.

Smarty Kat Catnip Mist (1 fl oz) – Buy 0.5 oz for $1.62

This product is available in 0.5 oz and 7 oz sizes so I don’t even know how Pet Treater found a 1 oz bottle to send us! But, this was great for refreshing some older toys (although the effect is relatively short-lived).

ToyShoppe Playables Loofa Bird

ToyShoppe Playables Loofa Bird

This is another brand I can’t consistently find for sale online. But, dangly toys on strings are nearly as good as dangly toys on sticks, and this one has a lot of textures all in the same toy, which is something my cats have been into lately.

Buddy Biscuits in Savory Turkey and Cheddar (3 oz)

Buddy Biscuits in Savory Turkey and Cheddar (3 oz) – Retail Value $3.95 (found here for $3.16)

These are semi-moist cat treats. They’re grain free and made in the US and I am grateful to get something that’s not freeze-dried meat. My cats actually like these quite a bit. Sneaky will end up getting most of them as enticement and reward for doing her asthma inhaler.

Gratuitous cat photos ahead:

Angus always likes the “wrong” end of these toys better than the end you’re supposed to play with.

He liked these treats, too.

Here, Madison just liked my hand.

He also showed some interest in the string part of this toy.

And here he is, eating a treat.

Monkey liked all the different textures here.

And his reaction to the treats was fun, too.

Sneaky likes wand toys. I couldn’t get a good action shot this time, though.

Here she is, eating my hand.

I think Mr. Kitty was mostly annoyed at being awakened…

Verdict: I couldn’t find all the items in the April 2018 Pet Treater Cat Pack for sale online. However, there were four items, so you get an average value of about $3.25 each, which seems reasonable considering the treats have an MSRP higher than that and wand toys usually go for $5-7. The toys were well-received this month and my cats were fans of the treats.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you’d receive May’s package as your first shipment.

  1. Has anyone even received their May box??

  2. They have the option of posting your cat with any item on social media and email it to them. They send an extra item the following month.
