JustFab Review + BOGO Offer – March 2018

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. If you buy something, MSA may earn a commission. Read the full disclosure.

JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices on everything in their store. On the first of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal ‘Boutique’ or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip by the 5th of each month, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

This model is similar to how ShoeDazzle, Fabletics, and AdoreMe work.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes)

JustFab March 2018 Review

JustFab is one of my favorite boxes to receive! Let’s see what I picked this month:

This month’s invoice notes the item I picked, along with returns and exchange info on the back (both of which are free!).

I also received a $100 wine voucher from nakedwines.com.

Longline Drapey Jacket, size XS – Retail Price $60.95, VIP Price $44.95

I was really excited about this knee-length jacket when I saw it on JustFab. I live in maxi cardigans during the winter, so I felt this jacket-style cardigan would be a nice lightweight option for spring. Seeing it in person, it is definitely more of a business-casual jacket, rather than casual or even dressy option. Still, I paired it with a floral bodysuit and black denim leggings – a personal favorite JustFab pick from last month!

The top half of the jacket is a suiting-like polyester and the bottom half is polyester chiffon. I sized down like usual and glad I did. There are shoulder pads that, although look subtle, add bulk. Normally I would welcome them, but there’s a heaviness to the top fabric that ends up making this item unflattering on me.

I really like the mix of fabrics and love the lightweight chiffon on the bottom. I’m going to play around with styling this piece to find a way to wear it in a way that is both flattering and stylish!

Verdict: This month’s JustFab ended up just being okay. It fell a bit flat for me personal style-wise, but it’s a quality piece of clothing. And if I wanted to, free returns and exchanges are always an option! Since this item cost $44.95, I may return it for something I like better.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The box you receive depends on what you pick! This item is still available but in limited sizes.

Coupon – Get your first two looks for $39.95!, no coupon required, just use this link

Value Breakdown: The retail price is $60.95, and a VIP price of $44.95, which includes free shipping and returns. That’s a VIP savings of about 26%.

  1. I think it you should either cuff the sleeves up (they look too long on you) so your wrists show or even cuff up, sew, or slide the sleeves up for a quarter length look. Other than the sleeve length I think it looks great! I love the chiffon/mixed fabric style and all black – very cool!

  2. I always remove the shoulder pads…they’re only food for football players in my opinion

    • not necessarily. I wear a lot of dresses from the 1930s and 1940s, and the shoulder pads make the dresses look gorgeous as long as you’re not broad-shouldered. they can be classy on the right frame.
