JustFab February 2018 Review

JustFab is one of my favorite boxes to receive! Let’s see what I picked this month:

When more than one item is ordered, I typically receive an invoice. This month’s note the items I picked, along with returns and exchange info on the back (both of which are free!).

A $100 wine voucher from nakedwines.com was included.

JustFab also included a $50 off coupon for Hello Fresh. Check out all of our Hello Fresh reviews to learn more about this meal delivery kit and to save on your first box!

Leilah Sneaker, size 8.5 – Retail Price $39.95 (VIP Price $27.95)

I recently realized I own super wintery utilitarian boots and cute booties for going out, but nothing casual in between for days where snow has melted, but salt is lingering on sidewalks (as to not ruin the cute booties!). I’m not usually a sneaker-wearer, but then I saw this high-top faux leather style and knew this was the perfect balance of what I like and need.

The leatherette material has a pebbled texture and high shine to it. Without the texture, these would definitely look cheap, but the quality is apparent with the construction and top-stitching.

I chose the black colorway, but JustFab also offers burgundy and gray faux leather, all with a white sole.

The velcro on the four straps offers serious strength!

JustFab notes these sneakers fit true to size, but in past months, I’ve learned to size up a half size with most shoes. So, I went with an 8.5 and glad I did. They fit great in the foot but are a little tight in the ankle. They are still wearable and my hope is they stretch the more often I wear them. I am really enjoying the high-top style and will absolutely add these to my wardrobe, particularly for running errands and casual days out!

Denim Jegging, size S – Retail Price $52.95 (VIP Price $24.95)

I’ll get straight to the point: I LOVE this pick and they are more than worth the $24.95 VIP price tag! I’ve been on a never-ending quest for a pair of black pants that are somewhere in between skinny denim and a classic trouser. Voila!

In past reviews, I recommended sizing down on all clothing, but in trying out woven leggings from other retailers, they tend to run small. So, I went with my normal size and they fit like a glove. Super skinny like knit leggings, but thick and durable like denim. And most importantly, I feel comfortable wearing them with shorter tops and don’t feel limited to wearing them only with tunics.

Oh wow, apologies for my dog Oliver’s hair! But this is a great segway to mention these pants pick up lint extremely easily. The front pockets are stitching only and not functional. The elastic waistband offers some stretch but I like that you don’t see cinching.

Best part? The back pockets are functional! If black pants aren’t your first choice, these leggings also come in two shades of blue denim and are selling fast!

Here’s my weekend look incorporating the leggings and sneakers. The pant hems hit just below my ankle, so they tuck into the sneakers perfectly.

And for a night out, I’ve swapped the sneakers out for cute booties 🙂 and paired the leggings with an oversized top.

Verdict: Two months in a row that I am really happy with my JustFab picks! Both choices this month have become staples in my wardrobe and I’ll get a lot of wear out of them. The quality of both exceeds the VIP total of $52.90 + free shipping, and I’m glad to know JustFab offers free returns and exchanges since sizing is usually in question.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The box you receive depends on what you pick! Both items in these colorways are available (the sneakers in size 5.5-9 and the leggings in size XS-3X).

Coupon – Get your first style for $10.00! No code need, just use this link!

Value Breakdown: The total retail price is $92.90, and a VIP total of $52.90, which includes free shipping and returns. That’s a VIP savings of about 43%.

  1. I got it at Forever21 in October! Maybe it’s still available? (It’s a bodysuit.)

  2. Cute! You should totally pick up another pair of those pants so you have an extra. I love finding the perfect piece of clothing and getting a backup.

    • Oh, that’s a really good idea, Alex!

  3. Where is that floral top from?? I love it!!
