Stickii Club Retro Pack February 2018
Stickii Club has started to send one of these awesome storage sleeves along with each shipment! There are plenty of pockets in this planner-sized sleeve. They even included a little ring to use with it!
Stickii Storage “Wishing for Spring” Corner Labels
To help you stay even more organized, they also include these corner-shaped stickers that you can attach to your storage pocket to label what’s inside! I love the deep teal color of these corners. They’re so sophisticated and fresh.
Frame Die Cuts
This handful of transparent stickers can add an elegant frame to anything on the page! I like the idea of putting them around photos of faces in a scrapbook. Some of them even have a pattern or patina across the center of the frame. So cute!
Watercolor Bird Stickers
I loooove these pretty birds! They have a painterly aesthetic that’s really pretty. That blue tone, in particular, is so gorgeous! I could see peppering these 1-2 inch birds on a handmade greeting card.
Doodled Bouquet Stickers
These one-inch-big bouquets have the quality of a crayon or colored pencil drawing! I love how sweet the style is. And the colors, particularly in that big bouquet by the bottom right corner, are so springy! Did you notice the gardener bear on the bottom right corner?
Roses and Flower Buds Stickers
All of these floral designs are so pretty! This sheet of stickers has a more muted palette than the previous ones. The moody purples, deep reds, and pale pinks are romantic, aren’t they? These inch big stickers seem perfect for sealing a Valentine’s Day love note.
Animal Town Stickers
This might be my favorite sheet in this pack! I love the little animals in cute attire—I feel like they look like they all live in a tiny English town. The row houses are sweet, too. I kind of wish I lived in this charming world!
Flower Bouquet Stickers with Gold Accents
This is the first sticker sheet that really gives me a retro vibe, in that it reminds me of the kinds of stickers I’d get when I was little in the 80s and 90s. That dappled effect and the abundance of cute bows… I feel like I had a friend with these kinds of designs on her childhood bedroom wallpaper! I love the dainty metallic gold accents on these stickers. (Of course, I love ANYTHING metallic, hehe!)
Cozy Home Stickers and Washi-Like Tabs
I love the minimalist, Scandinavian vibe of these stickers. The smaller stickers look right out of a charming children’s book. There are some very straightforward designs, like the flowers and the car, but then there are some quirkier ones like people on beach chairs and the palm-printed tote bag. The bottom bit of the page has little-patterned tabs that act a bit like washi tape. They’re great for sealing envelopes, marking pages in planners, or using for other dainty decorations.
Each of these 2-inch stickers features a beautiful garden scene and a little “Dream” saying: “Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go.” They’re a bit precious for my taste, but again, they have a 90s charm that’s sort of lovely and familiar.
Fancy Roses Card
Last but not least is this pretty bit of ephemera, which is about the size of a small index card. It looks like a painting that’d hang in a fancy French home. The scalloped edges give it even more of a romantic vibe.
The Verdict: It’s so interesting seeing another style of Stickii Club! I feel like these stickers are more “vintage” than “retro”—all of the designs had a touch of elegance to them, or at least an old-timey, muted color scheme. There were still some cutesy designs, such as the sheet with animals and buildings, but this month’s kit was mostly fancy florals. I wonder if that’s just because it’s Valentine’s Day season or if that’s the overall tone…
