Glad I waited for a spoiler on this one, love the theme but what can you do with a carafe with only one tumbler? That’s kind of depressing..

Hi,
Traditionally, in my experience, this is a night bedside table set.
The idea is to fill the carafe with water at bedtime, and place the glass over the top, upside down, to keep it all clean.

If you ( or a guest in a guest bedroom) wants water during the night, simply remove the glass and pour water from the carafe into it.

I have 2 which are made of fine crystal. One is Waterford, the other is a one of a kind art glass pitcher with a much smaller tumbler which fits in as as a sort of stopper.
