February 2018 Lootaku “DC Universe” Review

The February delivery highlights the DC Universe!

Each month includes a detailed information card with information on each item – including item values based on Amazon at the time of curation.

Banpresto Q-Posket Harley Quinn Asia Exclusive – Value $30

I only see these listed on eBay for sale – and at a higher price than the card lists, so we’ll go with the card’s value.

It’s Banpresto, so it arrives in a few pieces that are sealed up.

In a few clicks, you have your 5.5 inch tall Harley Quinn! If you read these reviews, you might know that I’m a big Banpresto fan – so to get a DC Banpresto item really puts this box over-the-top already!

Batman Light Box – Value $28

This is SO cool. This is a backlit batman light box – similar to the Goku lightbox from July!

It’s actually multiple layers that give it a 3D feel.

Prop it up and turn it on.

The layers really pop – and I loved seeing that new 52 Batman.

Batarang Letter Opener – Value $20

Let’s stay with Batman for a second, because this is the coolest letter opener you’ll receive – a Batarang!

This thing is serious business! It’s metal and sharp, so be careful – it’s good enough just for display, as well.

Inplay Hanging Figures – Batman – Value $18

This was one that I wasn’t sure about until getting it out of the box. You’d receive Batman, Superman, or Flash.

It arrives in a box that has authenticity stickers. Put the pieces together and…

Make Batman glide on your desk. Or, and the extra keychain…

And take the little Caped Crusader to go.

DC Big Plush – Wonder Woman – Value $10

For the final item, you’ll receive a plush version of Wonder Woman or Superman – who did you get?

This plush is modeled after the latest DC movie character version – so Wonder Woman or Superman will have the outfits from Justice League!

Verdict: I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this box. I love getting quality and types of items that Lootaku sends on a monthly basis, but I’m not a big Anime fan, so I wait for boxes like this one that is a perfect marriage of Lootaku and DC! While this is a higher priced box, I haven’t had any value issues when I’ve been very into the theme – so keep a lookout for the theme before you buy.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You’ll find the current theme on the landing page.

COUPON: Use code DISCOUNT5 to save 5% off any subscription box or product!

  1. Lootaku is the best loot box out there, today i only buy with them. Customer Service is awsome, very fast, and always resolve any issue with the custumer. Very good. High quality stuff in the box. I Strongly recommend them.

  2. This box is really expensive for just unlicensed items or Chinese copy… be careful !

    • As far as I know, only the lightbox thing and the batarang is unlicensed but I’m ok with that. The Harley figure is genuine and that costs $40 online so it’s already the cost of the box!

  3. Very cool items, especially Batman. The only “meh” item is a plushie, just not a fan of those.
