Now for the clothes!
Empire Faux Wrap Dress in Navy Floral, Size L - Price to Keep $49.50
This dress has me dreaming of warmer weather! I am obsessed with this bold floral pattern and the way it bounces off of the navy. The top was a bit on the larger side for my comfort level, but that isn't anything that a tank top couldn't fix to help with coverage. I would normally go a size smaller for a fit issue, but the waist, even though it doesn't have a side zipper, provided very little to no stretch. The cutout sleeves were a fun little surprise and created a nice airiness to the overall look. This is a style that I could see myself wearing to Easter brunch or even for a date night out with my husband. I love how the dress looks paired with my velvet booties, but I could see this pairing nicely with heels or a strappy sandal.
Love & Legend Wide Leg Released Hem Jeans, Size 14 - Price to Keep $35.50
These jeans are amazing, they remind me of a pair I had in the 90s that I lived in! The fabric is super stretchy and has a super-oversized fit to them. The released hem is a style that I am finding people either love or hate, but I can safely say that I love it! They look great with boots but would be perfect in the summer with a wedge. The size that I ordered is a bit too big for me, I could really use a size down for the perfect fit, but I had just found out that I was newly pregnant when this box came so I decided against ordering a new size. Bummer because I am in love with these!
Leota Bridget Maxi Dress in Feuille, Size L
I really wanted to love this dress, it has everything that I look for, red and a maxi dress. When I saw the print in person, I didn't love it as much as I did on the model, and the red is much darker than I thought it would be. The fabric was super comfortable, lots of stretch that allows the dress to really move with you. However, I thought the fit was a tad too big for me, but I'm not sure that a size down would work either. The top was a little baggy in spots making it feel a little frumpy. Even though I didn't love the overall look of this dress, I was excited to be able to try it on in person!
LOFT Medallion Swing Dress in Forever Navy, Size L
This is the perfect mod 60s dress that I used to wear a few years ago when my hair was bright blond, straight, and I had bangs. It was a whole look and I was excited to try this style again to see if it would fit the 'new me.' While I didn't love it when I first took the dress out of the box, it really grew on me after wearing it for a bit. I love it paired with my black tights and boots, but could see it being great with a leather jacket or even black oxfords in the spring. Plus, the dress is stretchy with lots of extra room that will allow me to wear this even as my baby bump grows!
Verdict: This month I was able to get my first box of returns back quickly which allowed me to get a second box of two items all in the same month! I really loved the convenience of getting four items in one month, and it really showed me how great of a value you are getting if you are a bit faster to return. It can always be a bummer when these boxes don't work out, but I was so excited when I saw that I was getting a second March box. I loved each of the pieces this month but had to make my returns mainly due to my newly discovered pregnancy, but I was able to keep one dress that will grow with me! I am excited to try another month to see if I can continue to find pieces that I can wear during my pregnancy and to have after!
