Please correct these. We received a one time use sample of the cloth sold for free on their site in the April box, not the $12 mini. You are misinforming everyone.

Judging from these comments I must be in the minority, but I don’t mind the variances at all lol. All the products look like nice and are of equal value. Sub boxes are supposed to be a bit of a surprise, if I wanted exact products I’d just go shopping, not subscribe to a monthly box where what you get is a gamble lol. Cause ya know, that’s the point of it….

I’d prefer the Korres, but honestly, I’ve not tried much from Stellar. It might be awesome. I’ve really been loving Allure!

This is a real bummer of a variation since almost everyone seems to want one option over the other.

Ugh. I’m SERIOUSLY hoping for the Korres. I only use mattifying primers (freakishly oily skin, here) and the Korres is genuinely intriguing for me.

Anybody else having issues with shipping? I signed up February 22 & was billed that day, then again on March 3 but haven’t received a box for either month. CS tells me they’ve both shipped, but no tracking or any sort of confirmation, so too late to cancel. They told me I can return both for refund if I don’t want them. I’d just like to actually RECEIVE them! Not the greatest CS…

Same here. Signed up on 02/24 and was billed that day for the February box. Billed again on 03/09 for the March box. Emailed Allure on 03/04 asking if the February box will be mailed. Received reply on 03/07 stating that when the box ships, I will receive a tracking email and apologized for the delay. As of today, still haven’t seen a tracking email. Have paid for February and March but no boxes as of yet.

CS is okay … obviously would be much better if I could receive my paid boxes especially since April spoilers are already being posted.

Sub to Ipsy, Birchbox, Look Fantastic, Play and now Allure. Allure’s box products appear to be impressive which is why I subbed. Sure hope the shipping of boxes becomes more consistent. I definitely have my favorite subs and at least one has exceptional CS. In the next month or so, I will need to determine if a few of my sub-par subs need to be cancelled.

Got home from work tonight and my February Box was delivered 🙂. Never received a tracking email but very glad to have the box.

I’m in the same boat – signed up Feb. 22, charged that day, no box received yet. Noticed on my CC card statement that I was charged again 3/9 (at the $10 rate, not $15), and my Allure account now states 3/9 is the day I signed up so I thought maybe they ran out of February boxes. I called and they said no, I will get both Feb. and March and that they are being processed and are “in the warehouse,” but could give me no further info on when they’ll ship. I did finally get a shipping notice email today, but don’t know whether that’s for one box or both. I do think it’s somewhat sketchy that I’ve now been charged for two boxes but haven’t even received one to date – I’ve done other (non-makeup/skincare) subscription boxes and they’ve always waited to charge until that month’s box ships. We’ll see once I start getting the boxes if the shipping issues resolve.

I’m hoping for the Korres moisturizer, but the primer seems to be getting pretty good reviews too.

Does anyone know when the March box ships? I signed up on 3/8 …and I took the survey for the foundation shade, but haven’t received the box.

I saw the trial size of the stellar primer that Sephora is giving away for free, it looks like it was also in a different box… it’s a .24 oz/ 7 ml, not saying that is what allure is giving away but I also doubt it would be the full size. I hope they update the size in here but I am also hoping for the moisturizer.

I tend to cancel when boxes start doing a lot of variations…I loved Allure so much because they didn’t do them. I hope this isn’t an ongoing trend or I’ll try to find another beauty box to sub to ☺️

I agree. I tend to find when hey do that I end up getting less wanted items.

I feel similarly. I subscribe to Julep to get my control-freak fix for this reason. You can customize your entire monthly box exactly as you wish, you can choose from several pre-made variation boxes, or you can choose to be surprised. You only get Julep products in this subscription.

I hate variations. This does nothing but make people angry when they see other people get the better products than they do. BoxyCharm is the same way and that is why I cancelled my sub with them.

I’m guessing they do variations because they only get a certain amount of product to give away and more subscribers than they have product…..I think I’d rather get a variation than no box at all. I try not to complain too much. Just silly to get angry over a sample product, but that’s me.

I agree. Especially since there is a chance you will get the product variation you wanted. I don’t variations is a valid reason to cancel the whole sub. Unless spoilers are a bait and switch where the value is vastly different and most people get the cheaper one…it doesn’t seem like that’s going on here

This! I canceled other beauty boxes for this reason, but kept Allure because variants were minimal, if at all. I’m not happy about seeing more variants lately.
