Red Flower Icelandic Moonflower Moisturizing Body Lotion - 1 oz Value $3.25

This is a lightweight lotion that absorbs almost immediately. I like the subtle floral fragrance, and this lotion is ingredient-conscious and made in the USA!

Bulgari Fragrance – Omnia Crystalline - 5ml Value $8.25

This scent is described as a blend of Bamboo, Nashi, Lotus Flower, Balsa Wood.

FYI – this mini is tricky to open! Make sure to follow the illustration on the lid. You want to pull the silver part off from above. Here it is opened up:

allure-beauty-box-v1-november-2016-0015

Allure has sent different versions of this perfume before and I always enjoy getting them in boxes - the minis are so cute!

Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner - .04 oz Value $20?

I'm pretty confused on how to do the sizing/value for this one. The package lists the size as .04 oz, which is slightly larger than the full-size version (.03 oz). So I'm assigning it the full-size value (instead of even more than the full-size value.)

This eyeliner is waterproof and the felt tip marker makes it super easy to apply a straight line, too. Here it is swatched:

Bonvivant Alone Sheet Mask - Value $3

This mask is made is made with aloe, lightly-scented, and it was super hydrating.

allure-beauty-box-v1-november-2016-0018

And good news, they added a sticker to this mask with instructions in English!

allure-beauty-box-v1-november-2016-0012

Avene Hydrance Riche Cream - .5 oz Value $11.85

This cream is exactly what I expected from Avene – super hydrating! (I love their water mists, too.) It’s a rich cream, but it absorbed quickly and was gentle on my skin.

allure-beauty-box-v1-november-2016-0009

Klorane Shampoo with Olive Extract - 3.3 oz Value $7.40

This is a great sized sample! (Probably good for a week's worth of uses.) I like the Klorane brand, and this shampoo was great, too. (One word of caution for anyone who avoids sulfates in their haircare - you'll need to swap/gift this.)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $53. That's great for a $15 beauty box, and better than I thought it would be when I first saw the spoilers. There may not be a lot of new brands/products for me this month, but everything is super-useable from brands I like!

I decided to stop with Birchbox as Dec (and Jan) didn’t appeal to me at all! Been with BB since Feb, so it was time to go back and check out Allure.
I started with Allure earlier this year and they went above and beyond sending me a missing Mally eyeliner (blue, loved it!), even a free extra box (not sure why, to apologize?).
So when I saw Allure’s deal, I coudn’t refuse – the products are a bigger sample size. I got the Nov box 2 and though I’m not in need of another black eyeliner – have three daughters who happily take some of my extras… The Klorene didn’t seem great to me as I didn’t like the one in BB, but this one was fantastic for my hair! The Bvlgari is difficult to open but it’s so darn cute and more than just a little sample spray bottle. I loved the one they sent earlier this year.
As far as the mask and face moisturizer go, bring them on!!! I can’t ever get enough masks, and face/body moisturizers. I’ve used Avene before and Red Flower bath salts appeared in a bonus Goodebeing box – loved both. If it doesn’t work for my face, then I simply use it on my neck or arms, etc. so they never go to waste!
I also like the fact that I’m not locked in for 3 months or more, if I don’t like what’s coming up next month I can cancel! Thanks Allure for making it a little more flexible for us! We can’t all like every single month and sometimes we have to take a break.

I did the Black Friday special for 6 months at $5.00 off each and this was the first box I received…I was hoping they would start with December’s box, but oh well, this is not a bad box, just not that exciting which is why I did not jump on and join earlier.

It’s a little late to comment, but I ended up getting the box with the Seche polish, which came with a coupon for Sally Beauty where you get a free polish if you buy the top coat. I went on the site, though, and can’t find the polish! I only see the top coat and base coat, so the coupon is pretty much worthless if you can’t get to a store. =(

I’m having really good box mojo this month. I was hoping for this version because of the Klorane and Avene products. Instead I received the nail color in Goddess and it is a gorgeous color perfect for the holidays so I was happy to receive the version I did. I love the Crystalline, it’s one of my fave Bulgari scents. My ipsy and Birchbox was great too. Looking forward to Play by Sephora’s bag this month!

I loved my Allure box! The moisturizing lotion is so rich and creamy. The Eye-Do liner is one of my favorites. Masks are always welcomed in dry Colorado winters. I’ve been subbing several boxes since last March and have never received the Klorane shampoo, crazy isn’t it? $53 retail! Thank you,

Jen

Why do they always have klorane samples in every box??? Thought about getting I mg this box but the last like 6 months have been crappy stuff that is over done in other boxes

Michelle

So glad I Passed!! Let me start by saying that perfume bottle is absolutely a nightmare to open. Even if I loved the scent I would never buy because of that. When I finally did get the lid off the perfume flew everywhere yuck! Can’t believe it is in the box yet again. The rest of it is nothing exciting. I hope its better next month or I am moving on. Just too many boxes out there to be so underwhelmed by any one box.

Lorraine

I’m hoping I get Box #2 as I would love the Seche Vite polish over the shampoo, though I do like the Klorane brand.

Reply ButtonReply

Chrystal

is there a way to know which box we will be getting? I also seem to lose the variation game with Allure, I would just like to be disappointed now over later…

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

As far as I know, there’s no way to know what variation you’ll be getting ahead of time. You may want to contact CS, and see if they could tell you.

Onyx

I haven’t even gotten the shipping notice for my box yet 🙁

Last months Allure Box had the amazing Spongelle…which I am still using and in love with! Klorane is always a great choice for shampoo and Red Fkower is Top of the line skincare. Is it an exciting box? No. is it something I’m happy I spent my money on? Yes ma’am! Every month.

Reply ButtonReply

Debbie

I looked at this and though Target Beauty Box. This is not fun of exciting to me at all.

Reply ButtonReply

Evelyn

So so glad I passed on this!

I paused my subscription after seeing the spoilers. Think I’m just on product overload. Last month’s Allure is still sitting in the box. Plus I just received that eyeliner in my Ipsy bag. And I didn’t see the political stuff, but if that’s what they’re doing, then I’ll defintely cancel. I’m so sick of it, I certainly don’t want my fun/ beauty mixed with politics. I get enough of that in the real world! Yeah, Allure will be the next to go…

Melisa Munoz

What political stuff are you referring to? I havent received my box yet, probably will this coming week. I was just curious 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Lin

I saw those posts and felt the same way. I also emailed and told them so. Of course, no response. I cancelled also.

Reply ButtonReply

Renee

I will let them know as well, but I expect I’ll get the same response as you. That’s ok, there are plenty of boxes out there?

Reply ButtonReply

NYAmicas

For the first time ever Allure has disappointed me. Much of this box are repeats or I’ve gotten them before aside from the nice smelling lotion but a lotion and a moisturizer? Eyeliner I’ve gotten a million times and the same perfume? Doesn;t seem inspired.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I’m hoping to get the Klorane shampoo, and I love anything from Red Flower, so I’m glad this will be in all boxes. I’m currently using the mango Klorane shampoo from an earlier Allure box, and I love it! It’s thick for a shampoo and super moisturizing. A little goes a long way, so the sample (which looks like the same size as the one in this month’s box) will last a very long time for me. Just this week, my friend gave me hers after trying it a couple of times and not liking it, so now I have two!

Aria

I actually would use every single product in this box. I’m watching for a Black Friday deal

They need to add something new and Trendy!! The excitement for this box is waning. No feeling of: “oh! I just read about this new product! Or Allure just named it #1 for something!!” (I also had to email and Email to receive Half of what they promised me for signing up 2 new subs!).
Staying for a few more…just a bit of hope left!!
COME ON ALLURE!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

The eyeliner full-sized is .07 – so this sample size is about half the size of the $20 one. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Lynn

When I searched this eyeliner online, I found it listed as full sized at .03 oz or .08ml for $20. I wonder if you were looking at ml or grams instead of ounces?

Jeanine

I guess younger people received the nail polish pox!! Darn birthdays!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Kim

Can not be true, I am 45 and I received the nail polish in refined which is a pretty shade of red.

Does anyone know the cutoff date for the allure beauty box? Like if I wanted the November box but didn’t have a subscription what day is the last day that I can start my subscription?

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

It’s pretty tricky with Allure since they’ll start your subscription with “the first available box”. That means you could subscribe in December, and still get November’s box if it’s still available. From the comments I’ve read about November’s box, I don’t think this box will sell out in November, so you could chance it and wait until December to get it. But, if you want to play it safe, maybe subbing by the last week of November would be a good idea. 🙂

Just subscribed and this is my new obssession – subscription boxes. I love my box but was hoping it would have included a bulgari perfume sample. Looking forward to the next one.

I think after awhile most boxes don’t feel as new and exciting. Sometimes it helps to switch things up. This is an inexpensive box and the value is there even if there are repeat brands. I like getting to try different products from the same brand. It’s an inexpensive and easy way to try more than one product of a brand. Im not subscribed to any boxes right now so if I see a few spoilers that I like I try and get that box. It’s not that big of a loss if I don’t get the box, and if there is something I really want to try, I will read reviews and just buy the product. It’s a waste of money to stay subbed to something I’m consistently unhappy with.

Samantha

What a lame box in my opinion. Glad I cancelled.
