Each box comes with a fold-out card detailing the items included, and what themes inspired the box.

The themes this month are floral, adore, valentine, honey, crush, and chocolate.

FYI – this box also included a note about changes to the POPSUGAR Must Have subscription program:

This will be the last monthly box from POPSUGAR. Moving forward, they will send quarterly $75 boxes, with a value of $250+. If you want to continue your subscription at this new rate/frequency, no need to change anything. If you’d like to cancel, you can log in to your account and end your subscription anytime between now and April 15th to make sure you aren’t charged for this new box.

(Check out our FAQ post to learn more about the changes.)

Now, on to the items!

K. Hall Designs Peony Jar Candle – Retail Value $26

This 8-ounce candle has a burn time of 60 hours and is made with 100% soy + vegetable wax blend. I love the sweet, floral scent, and the pale pink label gives it a simple and classy look, too. It’s a perfect candle for me.

Tokyo Milk Anthemoessa No. 84 Shea Butter Handcreme – Retail Value $22

How gorgeous is this packaging? I don’t often think of hand cream as a great stand-alone gift, but this one is!

The formula is rich, but not greasy, and it absorbs quickly. The scent is lovely and light, too.

And POPSUGAR also included a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more at Margot Elena:

Expires 3/31/18.

Tokyomilk French Kiss No. 15 Parfum – Retail Value $30

More gorgeous packaging from Toykomilk! On the inside of the label, you’ll see the Eiffel Tower!

This scent is a blend of Mandarin, Tuberose, Gardenia & Vetiver. I’m not a perfume wearer, so this item is a miss for me, but it’s so pretty I might just leave it on display on my vanity.

Nima Oberoi Lunares Heart Vase – Retail Value $49

How adorable is this silver bud vase? I love that the design is perfect for Valentine’s Day, but also simple enough to work all year round. It measures about 5 inches tall and about 5 inches wide.

The vase is made of sand cast aluminum alloy, and each one is hand-polished. The booklet also includes instructions for care:

Here it is with flowers:

Perfect for a desk!

La Soula Universal Love Bracelet – Retail Value $39

(This month, POPSUGAR let subscribers pick between a gold or silver bracelet!)

The metal is brass with white or yellow plating, and there is one authentic diamond in the star.

The bracelet measures 6.75 inches with an additional inch extender. Here it is on me at the smallest setting:

I love delicate gold jewelry, so this is perfect for me!

Money On Honey Wildflower Honey Caramel – Retail Value $4.99

Wow! These are fair trade dark chocolate treats made with honey instead of corn syrup, and they are gluten-free and all-natural, too!

They arrive individually wrapped!

You get a chocolate + crisp rice crunch with a caramel center – delicious!

And these also came with a coupon for 25% off your next purchase from Droga Chocolates:

Expires March 31, 2018.

Lastly, we have this Special Extra from Stella Artois!

Set of 2 Buy A Lady A Drink Limited Edition Chalices – Retail Value $26

(Every subscriber will receive a mix of 2 chalices from Mexico, India, or the Philippines.)

The set comes with a Valentine’s Day card if you choose to gift one or both of the glasses, and info on the cause.

For every Chalice sold, Stella Artois and will provide five years’ worth of clean water for someone in need.

The glasses each have a different etched design, with a gold-leaf rim.

And my favorite part – they are dishwasher safe!

Here is the other design:

The purchase of a Limited-Edition Stella Artois Chalice helps provide 5 years of clean water to someone in the developing world. This year’s collection features hand-crafted designs inspired by Mexico, India and the Philippines, created by female artists from each of these countries. Purchase yours today and help end the global water crisis.

*$3.13 helps provide 5 years of clean water for 1 person in the developing world. Stella Artois will donate $3.13 to for every Limited-Edition Stella Artois Chalice sold in the U.S. between 1/1/18 and 12/31/18, up to 300,000 chalices.

So pretty!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $196.99! I think that’s an amazing value, and this is a perfect February box in my opinion – great for Valentine’s Day, but also any other day of the year, too! I will miss my monthly POPSUGAR Must Have Box, but they really ended their monthly subcription on a high note! Well done, POPSUGAR! Now I will anxiously await to see what’s in the first quarterly box!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, right now it looks like the February box will be your first box when you sign up. When you click “Subscribe Now” on the POPSUGAR site, the box your subscription will start with will be highlighted.

  1. I wish this was available to send as a gift without the subscriber commitment. This would be an awesome gift for my MiL who lives 8 hours away….

    • Just make the mailing address different from the bill to address. Once the credit for the first box appears on your account, hit cancel.

    • I think there is an option to send as a gift. At least here used to be one. Or you can cancel after you subscribe. Cancelling is pretty hassle-free with psmh!

  2. I am really going to miss this box each month. I have really enjoyed them…..I am excited to receive this last monthly box. I am also hoping the quarterly boxes will be amazing.

  3. i went to buy this box at full price but stopped when i saw this:

You are automatically signed up to receive an earlier month’s box, should it become available. See FAQ for details.

does this mean i could still get Jan’s box? thanks

    • I just signed up and it said that February would be my first box.

      • Thanks!

    • The January box sold out pretty early on so I believe you’d receive February 🙂

      • Thanks!

  4. What at amazing box. Truly.

  5. three little words i’ve only said once on another company’s box…….best box ever imo

so havent paid too much attention to this…..pop sugar is not sending out monthly boxes anymore? one box a quarter?

  6. Love this box and have not been able to say that for a long time. I cannot wear most perfumes but Tokyomilk is a win! SundaeHome will be my monthly box now. They had a win for January with the Pehr bin. For $50 a month it is a great home/lifestyle box. Details at or instagram

    • Ohhhh! Is the East meets West the 1st box!? What a lovely sub!!!

      • They have been around since last Aug or Sept so it is not their first box. East Meets West is the Feb Box and I believe that yesterday was the cutoff. I have received 4 boxes from them so far and have been happy with their selections.

        • Thanks 😊

    • Sundae Home, I haven’t heard of that one. I need to check that out.

      • If you email them they respond quickly and will let you know if they still have availability

    • And by the way, I love Pehr everything. I ordered some bins from the Valentines Day FFF sale. I love the blankets, napkins, runners, you get the idea!

  7. What a great box! So many thoughtful items and everything looks so pretty 😊

    • I wish I could give this to myself for Valentine’s Day!!

  8. Such a great box!! So great that as soon as I saw the spoilers I signed up for a second box!! The only miss for me is the chocolate, dark chocolate isn’t my thing. lol

Just wow though. One of the best boxes from PS for me ever, up there with the pehr bin box. lol

    • I thought I disliked dark chocolate until I got a giant cube of chocolate toffee covered almonds from sugarfina. It lasted less than a month. I think it depends on the quality.

    • I don’t like dark chocolate either, but the caramel is sweet, the rice a nice crunch which lightens the flavor, and the chocolate not overly intense. I’m milk chocolate all the way but these are fantastic!

  9. I love everything about this box. I have a larger vase just like that small one. They will make a nice display together. I’m really excited to try the perfume! Mine hasn’t shipped yet. Wonder if the cuticle oil I added is holding it up? I’ve got one credit left, so I’ll try the first quarterly box for sure.

    • My box hasn’t shipped and I didn’t have any add ons. Hoping it gets here before Valentine’s Day.

  10. Almost want to get this just since it’s their last monthly box! 🙁
Sadly…I only like the heart vase and the honey caramels! So sadly not worth it to me (likely to heavy to want to do a swap for it either I’m guessing)

I do like the idea of the water for a year – but I have a glass already, and I think I would donate first before I would consider buying the box! (3.13 for water for a year, that’s kinda scary and makes me think about my already rare water bottle purchases – reuse and you could donate instead! )

    • Marina, buying the PopSugar box does not donate water to anyone. What it says is that if you buy Stella Artois glasses AT RETAIL PRICE from Stella Artois, they will donate clean water. A freebie they gave to PopSugar doesn’t count.

  11. Hi Liz, FYI under the hand cream with the coupon code being offered, it states Margot Elena instead of Popsugar.

    • Margot Elena is the maker of TokyoMilk. You can get all Tokyomilk products through her website.

  12. Funny how it varies… I usually love whatever PSMH sends, but I actually hate this box haha (so of course everyone else loves it!) 🙂

    • If you would like to sell your box ill buy it from you?

  13. Great box!

  14. I just received my box and love it even more in person. The perfume is to die for. I cant stop smelling myself. lol. I already have the vase displayed, love the candle and the hand cream, the bracelet is so cute and the chocolates are delicious. Its pretty much a perfect box. I actually have a 2nd box coming to me (free with referrals) but it was too late to choose gold or silver. Hoping for the gold in my next box as I just received silver today. If not, it’ll make a really cute gift for someone. So glad I got this. I will miss my monthly box. 🙁

    • I feel the same way about the perfume. I’m so picky about perfumes, but this one got me hook, line & sinker! My hubby doesn’t care for perfumes and he even gave it two thumbs up! This was my favorite PS ever!

  15. Liz, the MUSTHAVE5 code is not working.

    • The promo is for first time subscribers so if you’ve had a sub with them before it won’t work for your account.

    • Try another email address. It kept dinging me because I had bought a bunch of mystery boxes before.

  16. Wow! I’m glad I caved and looked at the spoilers (my box has a tracking number but no movement yet!) because everything is amazing. Peonies are my favorite flower, the vase is spectacular, I am cautiously optimistic about the perfume, which seems like it may be too sweet/floral, and I’m a total sucker for things with moons on them.

There’s nothing here I am even considering listing for swap. Amazing!

  17. I believe this is the best Popsugar regular box I have seen. I am like Liz and do not wear perfume but I certainly have some family members who will enjoy it. Hope the selection in the quarterly boxes is this good or better.

  18. Love all the items ..! I am “in” for the “new adventure” of quarterly boxes!

  19. Fantastic box! I will try the new quarterly. Even though FFF is cheaper, to me it is a “younger” box and many of their products aren’t right for me. I’m hopeful for the new PS box, although I hope they don’t get rid of all the little treats – like cocoanut dental floss and star toothpicks – I like the little items too!

  20. I am glad I bought this box! I love it all! I think I will stay with the PS new quarterly system! I did not get to choose my bracelet color. Hoping for gold but silver is fine too!

  21. Was anyone able to get the coupon code to work? Thanks!

    • it worked for me, I ordered about an hour ago.

      • Worked for me, but I had to use an alternate email address

  22. What a fantastic box! I love everything. The vase is beautiful and I don’t have anything like that with a low profile. I was hoping for a good sweet treat. Looks delish. I will truly miss this box every month. I won’t hesitate to sign up for the quarterly.

  23. I have the vase posted on eBay if anyone is interested in purchasing it

  24. What a great box—especially since I’m still on the $20 plan…what a deal! Boxes like this make me bummed the monthly PSMH will be going away…but I think the quarterly boxes will probably be done well, too.

  25. Bummer. I was hoping for another gift card like last year for Victoria’s Secret. I’m hoping their quarterly boxes will be amazing.

  26. Yayyy finally! I simply could not wait to get my box until tomorrow I needed spoilers ASAP!

This is a lovely box, the Tokyo Milk products make it worth it to me as I loved any Tokyo Milk item that I’ve gotten.

I love candles, the glasses are beautiful – I love the bracelet and the chocolates sound divine! The only miss for me is the bud vase, I just don’t see myself using it. Not a big deal, I’m sure it will serve some purpose to me at some point!

Great box! Thanks for the review, looking forward to seeing the new quarterly boxes!

  27. How do you customize when you order?

    • I contacted CS and they said it would be random for me.

  28. This is one of the best boxes ever!! I love every single item!

  29. Thank you for the review Liz! I love the box. I have mix feelings about PSMH monthly boxes ending as I absolutely love them but I’m excited for their first quarterly box and hope that they are very successful with this new model as they are and always have been my favorite subscription box! Great last box!

  30. This is one of the best boxes! They always blow February out of the park!!! I will be giving Hubby the glasses with some chocolate inside!

Sad about the quarterly boxes/no more limited edition boxes…however I agree about being overwhelmed with stuff.

  31. I LOVE the sentiment behind the chalices! I understand SA wants to promote their effort, but the big red company logo on the glasses really kills it for me. They would be really beautiful without the logo. Even if they had made the logo smaller, they would be good. Especially if they stylized their logo to the white and clear theme. But at least they are swappable!

    • Yes I agree!! That logo really makes those glasses look super tacky, the designs are beautiful on their own, but that nasty red logo looks like a beer.logo, not cute or sophisticated AT ALL..they should have put it on the bottom..

      • Stella Artois is a beer company tho….

  32. I too will miss the monthly PS box – even though I did skip now and then – WOW ON FEBRUARY – 2 thumbs up for the monthly going out with a bang!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE 💕💕💕

  33. What a great box. It’s worth it for the perfume and lotion alone. It would make a nice gift (one that I want to receive)!

    • Thanks for the spoiler; my box is enroute! Can’t wait! The perfume and the hand cream by itself is so worth it to me! So, with being said looking forward to giving this quarterly box a try; especially the first one! I’m sure PS, plans to exceed our expectations because they don’t want to loose their subscribers.

    • I agree and I have been wanting to try this perfume! But code won’t work 😩

      • It’s not working for me either! 🙁

  34. Great curation for February. Wish I could get this box. Love love love the Lunares vase.

  35. Love, love, love this box! I will really miss this monthly subscription.

  36. Great Box! – Popsugar I’ll miss your monthly boxes ….

  37. Glad I cancelled…
$40 – for $200 worth of items monthly
$75 – $250 work of items (6 items, same amount as monthly)
So, you’re paying more for less.

    • Cost vs value doesn’t really matter if the curation isn’t good (looking at you, November). I’m interested to see how curation/quality changes in their quarterly boxes. Plus, we all know that there are a lot of sub box items that are “valued” really high, but aren’t really good quality.

      Value is relative

    • Although the monthly boxes sometimes had values over $200, their guaranteed value was $100. It’s probably reasonable to assume that with a minimum guaranteed value of $250, their quarterly boxes will often exceed that as their monthly boxes did.

      • That’s still at least 12 items over 3 months vs only 6…
        I’m disappointed.

  38. Really happy with this box!!

  39. 💕💕💕💕💕 love everything! Good job Popsugar!
Thanks for the review Liz 💕

  40. I am so glad I subscribed! Wow this box is perfect – I want a second one hahaha. Thoughtfully curated – love the extras too – appreciate what Stella does for countries in need. Cannot wait to get it. Thank you for the great review.

  41. I really love the February box after being disappointed with January. I am really sad to see the monthly subscription go.

  42. OOhh I love this box! Can’t wait for it to arrive! I’m so bummed I wont get to open a PS box each month but I guess all good things….

  43. LOVE!!!! This makes me so sad as I would love the monthly to continue, especially like this. But hoping it means they’ll knock it out of the park for the quarterly 🙂

  44. I’m actually really happy about everything, but I’m especially excited about the caramels (heehee). I stumbled on Droga many years ago and loved what I ordered but haven’t had it in such a long time. As soon as I saw the brand I was struck with nostalgia. Then I read the description and fell in love before I even get to taste! Can’t wait!!

    • Droga chocolates were in the must have holiday for her box a few years ago. They were soooooooooooo good!!! They are quite expensive to buy at full price so I haven’t treated myself since I placed an order with them while they were having a holiday sale. Glad to see they’ve been featured in the box

  45. I think this is a really solid box overall but alas it isn’t for me. I seriously wanted to buy this box since it’s their last monthly (and I am stupidly sentimental) but there isn’t really anything here that I, personally, want.

Except the chocolates. Those look seriously good. 😀

  46. I love, love, love Tokyo Milk so 2 products from them is amazing! My husband got me Tokyo Milk #13 perfume and it is down to the bitter end but I prevent myself from finishing it because I love it so much. Now, I will have another (similar) bottle!
I love candles! The vase is cute. The bracelet is cute. I don’t like honey but I will give it a try and hubby can have the rest.
The only miss for me are the glasses and I already have them swapped so I am stoked!

  47. Not mind blowing but a well curated box! Love each item! Your vase display with roses is lovely! Can’t wait and will miss monthly surprises!

  48. Well they certainly triple downed on the ‘floral ‘ part of the theme!

  49. I love this box!! Way to end their monthly subs with a bang. I’m mostly excited about the perfume, but everything is a hit for me

  50. Wow. Love.
