Hi all,

Liza here from GlobeIn. I am so sorry to hear that your GlobeIn experience has not been stellar. Please know that our small team is doing everything we can to prevent product delays and answer customer emails as fast as we can.

Regarding baskets: as you know we are always taking our members’ feedback into consideration when curating Artisan Box products. However, we also have 100 women artisans in rural Oaxaca who are relying on the income they make from basket weaving. It might be a small change for you and us if we don’t include a basket in the Box, but for the artisans the impact would be huge.

I always appreciate your honest feedback and for caring about GlobeIn and our mission.

For those of you who canceled their subscription, I hope you won’t stop shopping Fair Trade and will consider supporting other ethical brands!

For those of you who are still with us, I want to thank you for your support and being a part of our journey!

– Liza

I have yet to receive a notice of shipping for my February items. I have had several issues with them lately where I ordered items and they never arrived. I contacted CS and it ends up the items were out of stock. They didn’t give me a refund until I contacted them. Between only doing one box, a lot of items in the shop out of stock and not being replenished and items and boxes not being shipped, I feel like business is t doing well. Im having Little Lace Box flashbacks.

I was planning on canceling before the March payment was processed but was waiting for my February box to ship well I was too late and they charged me for March. I contacted them and they processed a refund for March and explained that they sent out a notice to their customers stating the February boxes were going to ship out late due to a customs issue. I never received such notice and apparently I am not alone.

I’ve had a handful of issues with GlobeIn as well, one of which was resolved once I followed up with CS a third time. They’ve always made it right. I suppose that makes me one of the lucky ones; clearly many subscribers are frustrated with their GlobeIn CS experiences. Having never heard of Little Lace Box, I just looked that dumpster fire up. Astounding. I love GlobeIn’s mission so much, I hope the company pulls through.

Same. I’m still waiting for February too. My experience with CS has been great. That said, seems like something is always wrong with the monthly boxes, we get notified late that times haven’t arrived and there will be substitutions, slow delivery, constantly changing what is offered. This used to be my very favorite box but there is a lot to be desired now. There are seem to be a lot of logistics problems. I hope they can figure it out soon and offer some kind of consistency. I try to keep in mind they are working with artist and delivery from developing countries and that by our constant support, hopefully it can on tribute to lasting and real change. I don’t treat it like a regular sub where I might have canceled by now.

I have skipped every box since they stopped doing two themes. These items are nice and I’m sure they would make great gifts but I have no use for them right now. I hope next month will have something I am more interested in.

Cute box. I would subscribe again but I just don’t have room for all of the palm leaf baskets. I have about 5 and use them but do not need any more. I LOVE those coasters!

Right after I subbed is when they stopped routinely including palm leaf baskets every month. I actually bought some separately because I wanted more and couldn’t stock them up fast enough. And then other people were upset that they missed them so they are introducing them back. I think it’s funny that it’s one of those no-win sub box situations. 😉 Anyways, now that I have enough, I’ve found they make great and easy wrapping for presents! It’s like giving a present in a re-usable present. So far everyone I have gifted them to have been happy…just a thought if you want to get rid of some!

LB- great idea to use them as a wrapping for presents!

You should be able to opt in and out of the baskets. I finally swapped away all 20 odd of mine but it took a long time!
