  1. If you get the editor box does that automatically sign you up for the spring no

    • The YAY code isn’t working I tried. Please assist. Thanks!

      • Sorry that code has expired since the Editor’s box is no longer available. You can use coupon code MSA10 to save $10 off the Spring Box, though. Hope that helps!

      • Hi cherryblossomgirl! Send your email to me and I’ll send you a link to join FabFitFun-saving $10 of course! I’m at suzanndy at gmail dot com.

      • Cherry blossom join thru Liz’s Code. This is Liz’s website. And Liz should get credit for it. Just my thoughts.

        • Bella01-I didn’t see Liz’s response! I was just trying to get the $15 for refer a friend!!

  2. I like the ISH eye products, so I’ll try this out. I was so happily surprised with the RealHer Lip Kit that FFF had in the box last year. I still use it and people always ask me where they can buy it!

  3. Oh! This looks fun! I don’t remember ever seeing a lip palette like this in a box before. I’ve been kind of obsessed with an Instagram account where she smashes and combines shades of lipstick to get new colors. I’ve been wanting to try it and this will be a less messy, low risk way to do that.

    • I love trying new shades I’m not found if very light dhades

  4. I only use lipsense and Senegence cosmetics so I will not be using this, but my daughter has been asking for some lipcolors so I will pass this to her. Hoping for less cosmetics and more fitness items this time 🙂

  5. I don’t even know what a lip palette is or why I would want one. I’m just a basic makeup user.

    • Same here 🤔

  6. I’m not a huge lipstick wearer until I really want to wear lipstick and then never have any (date nights, holidays, weddings stuff like that) so this will actually be nice to have for those occasions where I wish I had a lipstick to wear. Is it my first choice no; but will be used more then that eye shadow pallet from the winter box.

  7. If I wore lipstick, I would like this spoiler. The colors seem pretty. My young daughter loves play makeup, so she will be madly in love and it will save me the $10 for kid stuff.

  8. Honestly, I absolutely love FabFitFun…but this is not what I was hoping to see in the next box! The only feedback I gave during the survey from the last box was that I’d rather see a quality makeup item with a lower retail value then one that is heavily inflated and doesn’t work well. That palette we got last box was terrible! I love makeup and look forward to the new cosmetic item in each box. It’s just disappointing..

    • I agree 100%. I would be fine with one less item if it meant better quality beauty. I’m sure they think a palette is a good One-size-fits most option but it’s actually just disappointing. Fortunately I know a couple 11 year olds who will love playing with it.

    • I couldn’t agree more. I wish they would partner with Too Faced, Tarte, Balm Cosmetics, etc. for an item that hasn’t been released – like the Festival line for Too Faced coming out. I don’t think any of us are expecting a $69 (inflated value) palette, but a quality lip gloss, mascara, etc. would be so great. I just got a Beauty Blender eye liner tool for like $10 online. I feel things like that would be perfect for FFF to send out. I’m really hoping that they see my comment. Anyone else feel the same?!

      • Boxycharm does Tarte and other really decent brands ALL the time, for a $21 box. It’s a little ridiculous that FFF seems so much worse in this department.

      • The last box opened with a great spoiler, Kate Somerville and that was my hook. That alone cost more than the box. I don’t mind lip pallettes per say but the colors that I am seeing in the pics aren’t my favorite although it did mention blending ones together so I will try that. I do hope there are no personalized messages on bags or items. I do want quality over quantity. Boxycharm was initially my favorite monthly box but the wait list and now that they are doing more variations each box ( I am not a fan of) and their charm shop never having anything I want, it isn’t worth the $21 to me per month. At one time I really loved it but was very disappointed with their limited edition fiasco box. I am hoping the second spoiler of FFF will be more enticing.

On boxes in general I could have kicked myself not grabbing the first Margot Elena box! I am definitely getting the Spring one! That box was packed with awesome stuff!

        • Jeanette I agree with you 100%. Will you be my friend?

      • This 👏

    • Exactly this. I will wait for next spoiler before deciding whether to stay or go…

    • I agree! I thought the quality of the eyeshadow pallet in the winter box was terrible and such a high price tag! Colourpop is so much better

  9. Not excited by this at all. Does anyone know the last cancellation date for seasonal memberships?

    • I wish I knew too. This spoiler is just awful! I didn’t think I’d like the spring box anyway, based on past spring boxes. Now, I am pretty sure I want to cancel, but I’d like to see more spoilers and the add ons first. I just don’t want to wait so long I won’t be able to cancel.

  10. Well that is disappointing. Not interested at all. I was hoping for a spoiler that would make me want to take advantage of the $10 bonus to sign up to be a yearly member. Instead, this makes me want to just cancel my membership all together.

    • I cancelled right before.the fall 17 box and so far nothing has made me come back yet

  11. Meh Not many colors I would, or even could wear. I may be passing this lip palette on to my sister. NEXT!!

  12. I’m pretty sure Ish is a FabFitFun collab brand, which is why it keeps turning up I suppose.

  13. Love this! These fit nicely in purse for reapplication or to go from a day look to a night look. Plus I can mix and match if the color isn’t exactly right. I’m happy!

  14. Straight to swap this goes, along with the other cheap makeup they’ve sent with inflated rv. I’m getting over FFF.

  15. Oh no! Not a fan, it looks like a dollar store item. Isn’t the spoiler supposed to be awesome? Something so great you can’t resist? Super disappointed.

  16. Nice variety of shades. I don’t wear lipstick often, so this will probably go up for swap or get gifted to my niece. Looking forward to more spoilers!!

  17. I love lip products and I am looking forward to using this one. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for The Spring box.

  18. I really like this. It’s something we haven’t seen before. I received a lower quality lip palette in a K-beauty box that was something like 12 pinks/reds and I had fun trying different techniques and experimenting without feeling like I was wasting it.

  19. Hate lip palettes. I hope it gets better. Oh well the psmh is awesome.

  20. Ok. I am excited! I am forever getting eyeshadow pallets which I never use. This I will use!

    • Same here!

  21. I’m excited to try this. I like having multiple lip colors at my desk at work. This way, they are all in one (and won’t likely roll behind or off my desk).

  22. I love this box. Never been a fan of the actual makeup they include glad to see the quality is decent and I’m sure I can find someone to gift it to since swapping these brands is close to impossible as is selling them.

  23. I was gonna buy myself a year when the Spring box comes out but i will probably wait until fall because I’m normally a huge fan of spring and summer boxes. I would never use this palette or any palette’s all together because I just don’t wear enough makeup. Ohh well!

  24. I’ve never enjoyed using lip palettes. Can’t wait for another spoiler.

  25. Liz, do you find these formulas to be long lasting?

  26. I’ve been wanting a lip pallete. This will be fun for mixing colors & experimenting! 🙂 Although lip palette’s I’ve seen have had a blue for making colors cooler and a white for making them lighter…hmm maybe this isn’t for mixing lol.

  27. Yeah, I am so happy for a lip palette. What is the big deal with one brush? Wipe it after you use it. I have a really great lip brush that I favor and it has never been a problem using it with different colors. Also, clean fingers and q-tips are options.

    • You can also get lip brushes for $1-3 from elf but I have a nice one I use all the time too.

  28. Ugh, I do not like this spoiler. No more palettes and especially ones like these because they are a pain to use! FFF is getting very boring with the same things over and over in each box.

  29. Not a fan. I don’t like lip palettes in general and these colors are nothing to write home about either. Will definitely be gifting this to someone or giving to a shelter. Hope the rest of the box is better than this.

  30. Ugh yet another thing I will be trading!

  31. So disappointed in this spoiler! Not a fan of ISH!

    • I think the ISH brand is somehow associated with FFF because they push it WAAAY too hard and their products are always littered all in the add ons. 🙁

  32. I’m cool with this even though I’m not a huge lipstick person. At least it is a variety and will work for many instead of one color that you end up tossing. That eyeshadow palette in the last box was horrible so this looks better. I hope there are sunglasses or a faux leather tote and maybe a hair accessory and good serum or moisturizer in this box. Just throwing that out into the universe!

    • I love all of your ideas!

    • Those are very good ideas. There needs to be more variety in the box.

    • That doucce eye shadow is a freebie that you get signing up with Birchbox… That’s why it’s not a good brand. It’s cheap.

      • I think you only get a 3 pack of colors (not my main point though)….

I was excited for that Doucce palette because it was magnetic and I could replace the most often used colors, or pick new ones. Silly me actually bought the second color option on Ebay prior to actually using the shadows. I agree, they aren’t great. The colors are nice enough IF I layer them on (which is a pain) but layering means even more fallout as I apply.

Really wanted to like them, but I’m bummed. Need to find a good magnetic palette that has good shadows to go with it.

        • I know most people didn’t love the Doucce eyeshadow, but I have had the best luck with it. I have both palettes and mixed the colors into one palette that I use all the time. I’ve had no issue with fallout (though I do apply wet) and I love how the colors show up. Maybe it’s just because I’m so pale! Everything looks darker on me than on most people.

          • I’ve never tried them wet. I’ll do that. Maybe I’ll have better luck. Thanks.

          • I’ve gotten mixed results. Some good shades, some not so good. In general, the lighter ones are not so good. But they do also make nice mascara, and there was a lip color set (longwear liquid lipstick + clear coat over it when it dried) that I really liked. Out of the hundreds of lip colors I have, this one stood out as a good one. It’s now in my purse.

        • I had 4 Doucce (yes the Birchbox gave a palette with 4 shadows in it) my mom and I tried that one and the one from FFF and they were both disappointing and did not show up well or stay on at all. – Florida

        • I’ll second applying the doucce shadows wet. It’s not ideal, but I was able to get better color payoff and less fallout that way. But, I will definitely not be buying replacement colors when I run out.

        • Pixi Epoxy is your friend.

    • I am very picky with sunglasses, they are very personal because of the shape of the face as well as taste. I despise fake leather. I only use a hair pick for my bun and a hair elastic for my braid. As for skincare – the only items I’d be glad to get are essences and serums. So you see – it’s impossible to please everyone.

      • I totally get you! There’s no way to please everyone but I think that’s why they try to do a few customized items and color options. It would be pretty boring if we all liked the exact same things anyway! I’m just over the large woven multipurpose items lately and would like a little variety.

      • +1 on not wanting sunglasses. I wear glasses and don’t use contacts so… No use.

    • Nicole, which eyeshadow palette are u referring to? The Doucee or Realher? I have both and have not tried it as yet! Now I just want to give both away😥

      • I think Doucce is better than RealHer. Just my opinion.

  33. what do people do when they use a lip palette and go out? do you just accept it will wear off eventually throughout the night? just curious -never used one and was wondering about the practicality…

    • That is my exact concern. It doesn’t seem practical.

    • Yes, that’s what they do. I’m a makeup artist, have tons of palettes like this. I usually just pick one if my lipsticks in the shade range and put that one in my bag for later use. These are so great for travel too.

    • The colors are really pretty and I would have fun mixing the colors and putting them in some empty eye cream containers I’ve been saving so I can reapply on the go.

    • That’s actually a great point. Who brings a lip palette out to touch up?

    • Haha… I was thinking the EXACT same thing!!! Like when am I ever actually going to use this, since I won’t be able to reapply. I don’t wear lipstick when I’m at home. I can honestly say I’ve never seen a woman reapply lipstick using a lipstick palette before. lol

      • Lol I never re-apply! I apply at home and once it wears off it wears off. I find it burdensome to re-apply, so I only use chapstick after I leave my house in the drier months. That’s why I’ll never go through my current lipstick stash!

      • I reapply lipstick like a mudda ukker. It’s the one makeup item I feel completes me. We lose color to our lips as we age so I don’t know if I’ve always known that on some level (a light mauve Avon lipstick was the only makeup I wore as a teen) but I just don’t feel right if my lips aren’t flushed with color. You know I’m rushed or depressed or frazzled or sick or out of sorts when I don’t have on some lip color. Plus it feels good to have smooth, hydrated lips.

    • There are reloadable brushes you can buy. Load up some of your chosen color and take it with for re-application. I don’t though, I just let it wear off throughout the evening.. oh well.

  34. Very happy to try these colors!

  35. I do not like lip palettes simply because there is one lip brush for 12 colors, which means after each use I have to wash brush thoroughly in order not to contaminate each color. This is pain in …, and I do not have that time in the morning (in the evening the brush already would be dry or i would forget to wash it).
    Pretty but not practical.

    • You are so right! What a pain in the …but the colors are very nice.

    • I wipe thr brush with a tissue.

    • Agree. Have never been a fan of lip palettes for those reasons. Not a fan of the brand either. I would rather get one prestige brand of lipgloss or a lip treatment.

      • This brand must clearly be tied to FFF because they push it way too hard. 🙁

    • I’d definitely prefer a multi-pack of a good lipstick or lip stain or lip balm (in a tube or stick – not a POT ugh!) instead of a lip palette.

  36. Unfortunately this is a Miss for me, it’s going to be traded or gifted… I don’t like to wear lipstick that you apply over and over…

  37. Hooray for a lip palette! I am drowning in eyeshadows and I adore lipstick.

  38. Does anyone know if this lip palette is mixable? I’m a huge fan of trying something if I can mix and Match these shades.

I think a lip palette is a great box item. Something I wouldn’t buy on my own but I’m thrilled to try it out!

    • It’s def mixable! Should be fun. It’s super easy to clean off the lip brush too. I just use spray in brush cleaner and a tissue. I’m a pro artist, it takes it right off to switch shades. I’m glad to see this in my box! Takes up less space and I’ll love it fir travel

  39. I don’t do lipsticks, and I think the retail value is inflated. But my daughter will like to play around with it.

  40. not a fan of the concept at all. going straight onto the trade/gift box

  41. Lipstick usually makes me look like a clown. But this will be fun to try and play around with!

  42. Nooooooo!!!!!! Oh well I’m sure someone will appreciate it as a gift. I’m just not into lip palettes myself. NoT everything is a win win for everyone but still fun to get the box. Excited for the next spolier……

    • Yup..what she said. 🙂

  43. I like this spoiler! I’ve never used a lip palette before, so I’m excited to try something new. This is what makes subscription boxes so much fun 🙂

  44. I’m sure this is great for all lipstick wearing girls but that doesn’t include me. Oh well… I know there will be something great in the box and I usually love the add ons more than any of the box contents. Counting down the days until add ons are on sale!!!

  45. Ugh….Why another palette? Don’t we all have enough of these?

  46. I love FFF but I am not feeling this spoiler. These colors are boring (to me). I’m gonna stick around and hope that the rest of the box makes up for it.

  47. I adore FabFitFun and am obviously not going to write off the Spring box based on a single spoiler, but I do wish all brands, all companies, all makeup creators, etc. would realize how inconvenient lip palettes are for the average consumer. I’d have been much happier to try a single ISH lip shade, or maybe a mini trio!

  48. Nice! Are they creams or Mattes?

    • Creams, with a slightly glossy finish. Hope that helps!

  49. I thought this was an add on in the last box? Or is it different palette with new colors?

    • It’s ALWAYS an add on! Every. Single. Time. They can’t sell the ISH products so now they’re giving them away…sort of.

    • The add-on was a palette with 6 red-ish shades, 4 or 5 which are repeated here. I’m mad I purchased it considering I’ll be receiving basically the same item in the next box. 💸

  50. When does the spring box ship?
