Question…how are they able to sell some of these add on items for 50-70% off? I know the jewelry is hugely marked up but for instance the Immunocologie products that are $195 online and $39 in add ons? Is the manufacturer hoping we will love the product enough to pay retail in the future? Or does it mean the product wasn’t a big seller? Add ons are my favorite part of FFF and my cart is over $400. I need some reasons to remove several of these items!

Yes I think they do it to promote their line. FFF customers are their target demo so it’s a great marketing hook.

I normally don’t even order add-ons ‘cause nothing is attractive enough IMO to justify the expense. This time around I’m struggling with 35 items (down from 50!) at almost $475. My god what is wrong with me?!

I am at $250 and still stalking for three items.
This is my second box…the first one with winter add on purchases were $60. There are more things that appeal to me this time and the prices are reasonable.

It seems that FFF has ultra low inventory this time around.

I’m not sure if that’s it or if there are just more annual/”select” members. This was the first time I was able to get my hands on any Living Proof or Sol de Janeiro products…and they were still in-stock for an hour or two after add-ons opened for Select. The Ahava products were snatched up pretty quick but over the last week I’ve seen them all available at some point or another and managed to get my hands on some. I think there were maybe just more people reserving products for the past week than normal?!?! Or the same amount of people are hoarding more than normal. Anyway, I suspect alot of stuff is going to free up a few days before cutoff….so keep your eyes open if you are looking for anything in particular.

I only have one item I like. One! Good for my wallet, sad for me.

The first time I logged in there was nothing in stock that I wanted. But over the course of one day, I logged in repeatedly, literally any time I had a min or two to spare, and now I have just about everything I want, except for one towel!!
As others have said, I do think people go in and load their carts with everything they might possibly want, but then when they have more time sort through and drop what they’re not interested in. So the key is checking back to get the items they dumped. Good luck!!!

I emailed and asked when this box will be shipped but all they could say is Mid-March. I want some of the add-ons in my cart for Easter baskets (April 1).
What do all of you (and Liz) think of the chance that we will receive it by then?

If winter was any indication, don’t get your hopes up.

All the good stuff is out of stock by the time it’s open to all of the subscribers … can’t afford the lump sum all at once to be an annual member… so you have to reallllly check it every minute lol

@Jeri. Not true. As a annual subscriber most of the items I wanted were out of stock less than an hour after it opened to us last week.

I have two starter boxes to send out if anyone wants them. Note that you now have to pay $5 for shipping and not $2. If anyone wants one, send your email address here. I have seen people do that, spelling it out, such as at dot com, etc.

Hi Amy!
Thanks again for the starter box!
It came yesterday and here’s what I got:
Doucce Freematic Nude Palette ($70)
“Meet me at the Barre” gym bag ($59)
2 oz Dr. Brandt Pore Dermabrasion ($58)
Spongelle in Bulgarian Rose ($16)
I think it was a great box, and super indicative of what to expect from their sub. =)

First off, I apologize if you get two comments from me, I didn’t realize I wan’t signed in here with Facebook account when I tried to comment. Secondly, if you still have an extra starter box and wouldn’t mind sending it to me for a friend, I would truly appreciate it! Regardless, have a great night and again, sorry if this results in a double post 🙂

Ashley,
Yes, I do have one left to send. Just send me her name and email address.
And tell her, the auto message will say something like “Your BFF just sent you a FFF starter box.”
(Remember, she has to pay $5.)
Ashley Gebhardt
Do you still have a starter box available? I have a friend who would love one 🙂

What are starter boxes? Thanks.

Cindy,
They are sample boxes with, I think, four products worth $75—-but they are mystery items. I have never received one. I now have one left to send, but you would have to pay the $5 shipping. I’ll try to remember to check this page for your reply. You can’t already be a FFF member, though.
Allison
I have always wanted to try FFF. Especially since losing PS as a monthly.
I would love one! Luftmensch_00 at Hotmail dot com.

I am happy with my pending haul. I have 18 items in my cart and with a total of $115. I am going to probably dump some of it before it finalizes. I still have 5 more things that are sold out in “my favorites” that I am waiting to become available. Maybe if the next spoiler peeves off enough people they will cancel their membership and I can grab their add-ons. LOL Come on February 15th.

I have gotten the “out of stock” stuff little by little as people are dropping them. There is only one item that I haven’t been able to get yet.

The most coveted add-ons were gone within minutes/hours of the sale being opened to annual subscribers, which turned me off from buying any add-ons at all. Maybe next time FFF will have enough of everything. I know I would have purchased a couple of more items, about which I was on the fence, if I could have gotten the 1-2 items I really wanted, which were gone probably within minutes. That’s some bad planning.

Which were the most coveted items? I just released a couple items. I may still downsize the order because it is still over $200 which is ridiculous of me!

Mark what you want as your favorite and keep an eye on it. Things are constantly changing. I was logged in on opening day for annual subs by 1pm and I only had 5 things in my cart now I have 18, which I am going to dump some of them by 20th (I think, have to dbl check) b4 I am charged. Everyday I have been able to grab some of the out of stock stuff because I am constantly checking it. Don’t give up

Thanks for the advice!! I will try that!

From a business standpoint, I think it’s actually smart planning on FFF’s behalf – I would guess that they get many more annual sub sign-ups that way (I know that was a selling point when I bought my annual sub; getting first pick before items were sold out, getting the option to pick certain colors/styles/scents, etc.)

That’s the problem. I am an annual subscriber and logged in shortly after the add ons went up and the ones tgat i wanted were no longer there. Another poster commented, however, that out of stock items might come back…
Lisag1977
They always sell out fast but alot of stuff becomes available again as people drop stuff from their cart. Don’t pout. Just keep checking.
