BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. It’s one of our favorite subscription boxes – our dog loves it, and we’ve gifted it to dogs in our extended family as well!
BarkBox customizes your box to your dog’s size. For reference, this review is for the small size (our dog weighs 14 pounds). Check out Ragan's December review of the super chewer box!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

February 2018 Barkbox Review
Every BarkBox is themed and the February 2018 theme is Paradise Unleashed!
This month's information card is a little vacation brochure.
The card typically highlights a few variations of the items you could receive.
Buckles is ready to review!
Penny the Pineapple - Value $12
The first of two toys is a little pineapple.
Buckles doesn't tear toys up - but once this is torn up, there's actually a cad pineapple inside!
Here's more from BarkShop:
Not to skewer the girl, but Penny is not all that she seems. When your dog tears through her happy exterior, a sadder Penny is revealed. Crazy crinkle leaves only add to the drama.
It's on the hard side of a toy - but is squeakable for a bigger dog - Buckles mouth was too small to get all the benefits of this toy.
Tiki Twins Tug - Value $8
This was the preferred toy this month - a tiki tug toy.
The tiki portion is soft a squeezable - the rope is a dog-friendly t-shirt rope.
Here's more from the BarkShop:
wo tiki heads, with realistic wood-grained embroidery, are stuffed with fluff and classic squeakers and strung on a t-shirt rope.
Buckles LOVES this toy!

Cow-abunga Treats - Value $10
The first bag of treats is full of little beef squares.
These are the perfect size for our dog - great for a small treat or even as a trainer.
Hre's more from the BarkShop:
Made in the USA without wheat, corn, or soy, these treats are as wholesome as they are totally gnarly.
To no one's surprise - Buckles loves a soft beef treat. He's all about these!
Coconut Shrimp Treats - Value $8
The second bag of treats feature a coconut shrimp bite.
These are little bites that feature shrimp and whitefish - and they're soft - perfect for Buckles.
Here's more from BarkShop:
Made in the USA without wheat, corn, or soy, these these tropical treats are packed with omega-3s.
While these came in second - they were still pretty well liked by Buckles.
Koha Bacon Chew - Value $3
Like most BarkBox deliveries, the final item is a small chew or rawhide. This month features a bacon-flavored chew from Koha.
Verdict: Our dog loves getting this box and taste-testing it for us - that alone keeps us subscribing all the time - we're no required to be stockpiled in a variety of treats by Buckles!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. The March theme has starting shipping recently, so your subscription should start with that theme. You're also not guaranteed to get our exact same package - it'll be catered to your dog.
