JustFab December 2017 package closed

JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices on everything in their store. On the first of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal ‘Boutique’ or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip by the 5th of each month, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

This model is similar to how ShoeDazzle, Fabletics and AdoreMe work.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes)

Buttoned Faux Leather Midi Skirt, size S – Retail Price $56.95 (VIP Price: $39.95)

This month’s pick is a midi length faux leather skirt. I really like a lot of JustFab’s faux leather options, but sadly they’re sold out in my size or all together! This style looks more matte black and less shiny than what is modeled on their site, and I’m happy about that. There’s topstitching to create a wide quilting pattern and buttons along the front. Overall this is a great pick! However, sizing is really big. I am planning to exchange this item for one size smaller to get a better fit.

Here’s a closer look at the stitching and buttons.

Both outfits are styled with tops I received in this month’s Trunk Club (review coming soon!). I prefer a monochromatic look and liked mixing the smoothness of this skirt with a more textured turtleneck top. For a more casual look, I paired it with a plaid blouse (seen above).

Verdict: This month’s pick was a good one, aside from the sizing issue. I have found JustFab‘s clothing to run large across the board. In the future, I will likely size down regardless of what clothing item I’m ordering (shoes seem to run true to size). For $39.95 a month, I’m happy with this skirt’s quality!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The box you receive depends on what you pick! This skirt is currently available in sizes XS-3X!

Value Breakdown: The retail price for this skirt is $56.95, and a VIP total of $39.95, which includes free shipping and returns. That’s a VIP savings of about 30%.

  1. I agree! There is not 1 flattering thing about that skirt and paired with the flannel? No

  2. I am sorry that is really just not my style. I think it is ugly. Glad I dropped that box. Found the prices were over inflated. How many poncho’s and wraps do you need?

    • ugh, I agree. Maybe it’s just the bad fit, but I also think it’s way too long, and it really should have been a pencil-type skirt with that kind of material. I rarely, if ever, buy clothes from this site anymore. I’ve found the material to be really cheap, polyester, and the sizing was all over the place. Nothing ever looked like it did on the models.
