RealHer Moisturizing Lipstick, Full Size - Retail Value$18.00
This creamy, moisturizing lipstick reminds me of Christmas. I love the color. This brand isn’t new to me, I received their lip kit in a previous FabFitFun box and the liner may pair well with this lipstick. The lipstick is free of parabens, certified cruelty-free, synthetic fragrance-free and petrochemical free. This brand is all about positivity, created by a dad to show his daughter she’s confident and that she’s enough. I received the color “I am Powerful” in wine. It has a silky finish with a touch of gloss. This will be flattering on most skin tones.
RealHer Lip Liner, Full Size - Retail Value $12.50
This lip liner pairs with the Real Her lipsticks. It intends to be long-lasting, is infused with jojoba seed oil, shea butter, and hyaluronic acid. It’s free of parabens and is certified cruelty free. The color I received was nude, “I Love Myself”. I don’t think this color pairs well with the lipstick, maybe the plum or wine liner would have been a better choice to add to this box. I will need to search if I have any lip colors that with coordinate with this lipliner. The majority of the makeup have inspirational sayings on the products, like the lipstick and liner in this month’s box.
Here's a swatch of the lipstick and liner.
Melinda Marie Katrina Necklace - Retail Value $38.00 (currently sold out)
This pyramid shape necklace is 18k gold plated(stated on the website but mine came in rose gold) with a 17” chain, 1” extender and lobster clasp. This comes with a velvet pouch all ready for gifting. The delicate rose-gold colored chain pairs well with the Executive Society Freedom Necklace that was in last month’s box. I love the rose gold color, the simplicity of the design and how well it pairs with other necklaces I own. Also, enclosed was a promo code for 30% off your first order at Melinda Maria’s website.
Here I am wearing the necklace with the freedom necklace from last month’s box.
Grace & Stella Dr. Pedicure Foot Exfoliating Mask - Retail Value $12.95
This was a relaxing treat and to carve out time to pamper myself was greatly needed. The plastic booties fit well and there was adhesive tape enclosed to secure the booties around my ankles and feet. I did get some of the essence from the bootie on my leg while adhering the booties to my feet, so be careful when applying the plastic booties. The experience was relaxing and my feet felt cooler and less tense. I’m curious to see if any peeling of dead skin cells occur since my feet weren’t dry or callous prior to the treatment. Overall, well worth it and my feet are happy and relaxed. Also, enclosed is an info card on redeeming a free gift from Grace and Stella for a set of 6 cucumber facial sheet masks. I only have to pay shipping, which is $8.95.
From Grace & Stella:
1) Soak your feet in warm water for 10 mins, pat dry.
2) Place your feet inside the Dr. Pedicure Foot Peeling Mask.
3) Secure the booties around each ankle using the enclosed adhesive tape
4) Place a pair of socks on over the plastic booties and remain seated. The added heat helps speed up the process.
5) Keep the booties on for one hour. After 1 hour, remove booties and wash your feet with soap and water.
6) Dead skin cells will begin to peel from 5-7 days after treatment.
Tips & Tricks:
- For best results, do not moisturize your feet during this peeling process.
- Soak your feet in warm water for about 5-10 minutes a day to help soften and loosen the skin. Showers and baths count as well!
- This process is different for everyone: some people experience the peeling process around day 5 and others around day 10. It depends on how rough, dry and callused your feet were, to begin with.
Socado Italian Dark Chocolate - Listed Value $5.00
This dark chocolate made in Italy is sweet, rich in flavor and is creamy. The smooth chocolate aftertaste is intoxicating. The international website didn’t have this particular chocolate but they had an array of decadent chocolate bars for purchase.
Spongelle-Beach Grass, Pedi-Buffer - Retail Value $16.00
I am familiar with Spongelle’s products, I own the Cleanse Buff Glow, Shimmer Buffer with Built-in Body Wash and the Bulgarian Rose Body Wash Infused Buffer. I love how lathering and moisturizing the sponges are and the scent is lovely. So, I was intrigued to try this product geared for my feet. The pedi-buffer sponge has a built-in cleanser to cleanse and buff my feet. The soft side is to cleanse my feet and the bumpy, textured side is to exfoliate my feet. It’s good for 30 or more washes. This pedi-buffer sponge was lathering and slightly scented. I used the textured side to exfoliate and soften my feet and switched to the smooth side to cleanse my feet. The textured side was not as exfoliating as I thought, it was more of a light buff to my feet. The pedi-buffer did soften my feet. Despite the lack of exfoliation I wanted I will continue to use. Enclosed with the buffer is a code for 30% off their entire store at Spongelle.
Mr. B’s Necessities Facial Mist &Toner-Lavender, 2 oz. - Retail Value $15.00
This smells of lavender and eucalyptus, it’s refreshing and soothing to my face. This includes distilled water, lavender, essential oil, grapefruit seed extract, and witch hazel. This intends to cleanse and refresh my skin. It’s recommended to spray throughout the day for a toning, healing experience. This brand was in last month’s box; I received their calming aromatherapy roll-on which I love and use often.
Mavi Bandz Northern Lights Headband - Retail Value $14.99 (currently on sale for $12.99)
This colorful headband is adjustable with an elastic backing and about 7/8” inches wide. I don’t wear headbands so, I will pass on to a friend. This would be perfect to wear when working out or to add some color to your bad hair days.
Verdict: This month’s SinglesSwag box was my favorite. The box was a spa experience for my face and feet. I love when subscription boxes send me pampering products for my body. The box delivers on sending 5-7 products monthly, the $132.44 value is way over the cost of the box, which is $39.99 a month with free shipping in the U.S. and there’s always a food item each month. Despite the name, there is a market for women’s lifestyle/ beauty boxes and this box intends to encourage and uplift their subscribers by choosing products that will pamper them. Every box on the market may not be for everyone but it’s nice to have options. Check out their Instagram page to get more encouraging quotes!
