When I got to the end of the sign-up process (following the link for the free month), the terms state:
First month free. Then $14.99 for one book of your choice.
Skip any month and you won’t be charged.
Cancel anytime after your first renewal (November 28th).
That last sentence makes it seem like you’re committed to staying with the subscription for at least 1 paid month. If that’s right this is a BOGO and not a free month.

You are correct but you get up to 3 months at $9.99/month pricing 🙂

Would be kinda silly to just give away a bunch of free books with no further commitment, ya know? That being said, I’ve really enjoyed my BOTM sub. Any time I’ve had an issue, they just give me a free book credit. Which is awesome. I may need to get another copy of the Tom Hanks book….my naughty dog ate mine before I got to read it
