The theme for October is "Versatile Sparkle" and they've selected some items that bring a little glimmer and glam to your accessories.

The other side of the card lists the three items plus the bonus item.

Roma Slider Pendant

The first item I pulled out of the box was the first of two necklaces I received. This one has a vintage-looking gold u-shaped pendant with a row of rhinestones to make it pop and sparkle on an adjustable golden metal rope chain. I thought the way it adjusts is really unique and I don't own anything like it. There is a metal piece at the back where you can pull each loose end to extend (or reduce) the length of the necklace. I can appreciate that because when you have claw-like nails like I do, a tiny clasp is hard to deal with! This way I can extend the chain to get over my head, then tighten to get the shorter length that I prefer. The pendant itself is actually pretty nice, although I would personally like it better without the rhinestones. I know, I am no fun.

Grey Jardin Necklace

The next item is the second necklace this month and comes as gemstone-encrusted brass charms on a medium grey faux suede rope that has the same adjustable style as the first necklace. Even though this is hardly minimal, I have to admit that I'm drawn to it. The card says it's inspired by the Pantone colors of 2017 which are "Neutral Grey" (my fave) and "Ballet Slipper" which is a pale pink. I must say that they are a great combo and I think this would look super cool with a collared shirt, worn very short and close to the neckline.

New Moon Ring Stack by Karen Kane

Even though I don't wear them too often, rings are my preferred way to accessorize. The plainer the better in my eyes, so this little stack of three wavy silver bands is just right for me. Unfortunately, they are a little on the big side, but they do fit my index finger, so I decided to just rock them there. I like that these aren't totally uniform so depending on how they land on your finger, they look thinner or wider which gives them a more random feel.

Bonus Item: Deepa Gurani Hand Embroidered Headband

Anytime I receive a headband I think "how am I supposed to wear this?". I'm more familiar with the utilitarian versions that I use to wash my face at night than their statement accessory counterparts. I can't personally take myself seriously if I wear this across my forehead (like some people CAN pull off), so I opted for the more subtle approach with it through my hair. I then decided to wrap up the back of my hair into it as well since I often pin my hair back anyhow. I think this actually looks pretty cute! The greys and silvers are well within my preferred color palette, and as the card states, this was hand embroidered with all of the sparkly pieces that give my plain look a touch of class.

Verdict: I was pleasantly surprised by my first Your Bijoux Box, and even though I wouldn't have chosen these items myself, I was into them once I put them on. The quality of each piece is great and definitely higher than what I'd find at cheaper stores at the mall. If you love adding to your jewelry collection, I think this is a great box to explore with. No one item ends up being too costly, so you can keep things that may not be your style to pass on as gifts!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? It doesn't look like it. They process orders on the 1st of each month and ship on the 15th, so if you order now it looks like you would get November as your first box.

Coupon – Use coupon code WELCOME to get a bonus piece of jewelry with your first box.

Value Breakdown: At $39.99 for this box, you're paying a little over $13 or $10 per piece, depending on whether you count the bonus headband.

I have four jewelry subscriptions. This is my favorite, by far. I have silver and a gold monthly French jewelry subscription that is from a box that is two ladies’ names, and another one that is also two ladies’ names. Those other three will not be renewed.

The necklace that I received in a Fall LE box was gorgeous and the stackable rings in another Fall Box were also gorgeous. The jewelry in this box competes nicely. It’s got weight to it to reflect good materials and joining pieces. I LOVE this box. I am tempted to wear this headband across my forehead, and I normally don’t feel that tempted, haha. It’s that gorgeous. The way it is styled here is just as cute as can be! I think we will all be copying you!

I agree that this subscription is nicer than the others. The one that I used to get(was not a French one😎)always tarnished quickly.

Meant to say was not THE French one.

Thank you! If you can rock it across the forehead, you should go for it! I just can’t pull it off, myself. 😛

I love that they sometimes send Deepa Gurnani as bonus items! Not only is the headband really unique, you can also wear it as a wrap bracelet!

I really liked this box! Not sure how I’m going to wear the headband, but hopefully I’ll figure it out. It is very pretty, just a little out of my comfort zone. The rest of the box are things that I know that I’ll wear.

I have that gold necklace and actually got it on eBay for .99 cents! I thought that Deepa headband was going to be like the one from the popsugar Box but it’s not it’s actually less nice embellishments. I just can’t see paying 40$ for this sub because every time I read the reviews I see a piece I’ve literally seen on eBay for way way cheaper. Just doesn’t seem worth it

Great deal for $0.99 cents on the necklace. Is it from Bijoux box? Maybe someone just listed it at a low price hoping it the bids will go up? I am skeptical on getting jewelry on ebay, because even though something might look the same does not mean it is.Bijoux Box has great quality and some of the items I still have from years ago are in new to almost new condition.

Honestly I can’t remember who was selling it but it was shipped from china. It is a good quality necklace for the .99 cents I paid. I was very surprised to see one in this box!

Terry

If you got the necklace for $0.99 then you got a bargain! Go you!

This is one of the better boxes I’ve gotten since I started this sub. All of the summer boxes were terrible for me. I didn’t think I was going to like the gray and pink necklace at all from the photos, but I LOVE it. I also like the headband but I’m not sure how I’m going to wear it yet. I really loved the stacked rings and couldn’t wait to wear them. Sadly after four hours they turned my finger green. I was really shocked as I can wear anything and never ever have any issue with metals. I can even wear any $10 drugstore earrings. So be aware that you might have a reaction to these rings. I have the silver. I don’t know if the gold would have the same effect or not.

Hello Julia,

I am so sorry you had a reaction to the Karen Kane Ring! It is sterling silver plated. Please send us an email at [email protected] and if we still have your size we will send a gold replacement ring to you.

Have a great day!

Thank you Bijoux! What wonderful customer service!!

Sometimes putting clear nail polish on the inside of the ring can protect against your skin turning green. Hth

I always think that I couldn’t pull off one of those headbands, but I really like how you styled it.
