I wanted to publicly express my gratitude to those of you who told me about the good CS associated with this box.
Their CS did respond to my email promptly but there was a glitch on my side of things.

I talked to them today to make sure I wouldn’t get the November box ( due to the scrubs and my sensitive skin needs) and they were still incredibly nice.

Great CS and I will be resubscribing. hopefully in Dec. with some great moisturizing products. 🙂

Their CS has been great with me, too. I cancelled both of my boxes yesterday through their online chat, and it only took a few minutes of interaction with their very courteous reps.
Did they give you any indication of what will be in December’s box? I keep hoping for a good serum or moisturizer for winter.

No, I spoke with a guy at Dermstore, and I was so embarrassed about my mail glitch that I mostly thanked him and his company profusely..
I didn’t ask anything about the next upcoming box, but did find out that they don’t have a ” Pause Subscription” feature.

I wish I could help more about December’s box.. Traditionally, boxes in Dec. which have a mixture of cosmetics and skincare/ haircare/ body care products are more makeup heavy in Dec. than most other months because of the demographic segment who goes to a lot of parties and things around the holidays.
( I’m a ponytail, sweats, curl up with my Kindle by the fire with my fur babies kind of gal homebody now but I’m out of the age demo for subs, being almost 60).

Then, in January, I think there are more ” pamper yourself’ type products. That’s been my experience with the well- curated boxes in the past 10 years or so. I used to get around 50 boxes per month, but priorities have had to change. Now, about 5 and 2 are seasonal and one is every other month. ( Luxor Box, my only real splurge left- and I can’t buy their ” special boxes” any longer, but it’s OK).

Hope your boxes are super fantastic and your holidays as well, my fellow sub box addicts. 🙂

I stopped my subscription of this box just because I was on overload and because thru trying so many great samples I’ve found products that I’ve standardized on and am not using as many samples as I was previously. I’m really really tempted to buy Novembers box though. Not only have I been wanting to try Drunk Elephants products but that Babyfacial product has insanely great reviews. I did see that Sephora has the Babyfacial mini in a kit with the oil that’s recommended to use after for $25. I’m torn!

I have a sample of this Juice Beauty peel, and the directions say to avoid sunlight for a week after using it! Wondering if this is typical of peels…

Chemical exfoliants make you extremely sensitive to sunscreen, if you’re using any exfoliating products you need to be using a good sunscreen every single day

I got October boxes for myself and my daughter and we loved them. My daughter can’t use chemical peels with her acne treatment and I don’t like any of the juice beauty products I’ve tried, so I cancelled. Although I prefer the ability to cancel from my account, a 1 minute phone call was all it took. I plan to resub as soon as I see a hero item I’ll use. Meanwhile I’ll give Allure and boxycharm a try. Unfortunately boxycharm waited until after I submitted my order to tell me I’m on the waitlist. I can’t opt out of the waitlist online. I plan to pick one of these three boxes to stick with.

I went ahead and subscribed, but it is not showing in my account. Does anyone know if it will eventually show up, or do I need to contact CS about this?
I got the confirmation email, but my account is empty – no order history, no subscriptions, not showing the points.

when they bill you at the beginning of the month, it will show up in your order history.

@sarah, I didn’t know I could write reviews and get points. Is that applicable only to the products in the monthly box or anything i purchase?

Any items in the store! They don’t need to be purchaseditems. Also, when you review a product it saves a 15% off code for that specific product. Great way to get discounts on a favorite.

Hi,
I’m one of those people who has what they call ” fragile skin” and I really don’t use scrubs or peels. I got the Dr. Brandt one in the October box which arrived today.
It’s my first box with Dermstore/ Beauty Fix.

How do I either pause or cancel the subscription? I have looked everywhere for a button or an email address to do so and cannot find either.

I canceled by emailing, just service @ dermstore . com. They generally respond pretty quickly, just say you need to cancel prior to November payment. It’s pretty painless. You can call, too, if you prefer. All customer service info is on the bottom of the dermstore website.

Would you say they respond in 1-2 days? Or about a week?

Don’t forget to sign up for their rewards program, it’s really good! I just checked my account and had $10 in rewards, then wrote 5 reviews and upped account up to $15 in rewards (you can write 5 reviews/month and there are also points added if you share purchases or reviews on social media). I also found that you can add products to a favorites list and get 10% off (not all products are eligible for the discount though). Oh! And with each review I wrote, a unique %15 discount code was generated good for that particular product.

I am debating canceling this month. While the brands are great, I still have a full size juice beauty to use up and way too many peels/masks overall. I usually enjoy beautyfix but I may unsubscribe for now, especially with the holidays coming up.

Same, I really don’t care if it’s Skinmedica or some well-known brands, just don’t want to receive any more peels or exfoliators, not even cleansers. It’s almost winter now, give us more hydrating masks / spray / serum / moisturizers.

Same! I have way too many scrubs. No complaints and I love the products but it will take me a year to get through them all! LOL It does seem like the scrubs/peels have been heavy in boxes lately, or maybe its just bc they aer once every week or two products for me and they last soooo long.

I called and canceled probably just for this month. I’m in love with beautyfix but really am on product load. The rep said they always take suggestions, so I suggested switching for a month or so and maybe do boxes with hair care or body care, so hopefully we can use up some face stuff and ready when it comes back. 🤞

Wow!!! I’m a happy camper with this box …I do feel like in one Year I’ve gotten fantastic product and dropped Allure because I wanted to try more skin car. I can’t believe how amazing my skin is. I don’t know if it is product or needler but my skin is all that since beauty fix. I swear if they send a serum this month I will absolutely swoon. Loving JB face cleaner but still hadn’t starrted on JB moisturizer. I love this sub and hope I am strong enough to let it go in January
