The chests are always filled with officially licensed items – and sometimes a few exclusives. Their summer themed chests keep summer in mind with each item.
Steelers Beach Towel – Value $25 on Amazon
There’s nothing much more Summer than the beach – so the first item is a 30 x 60 inch beach towel.
It features the logo above the Steelers helmet. The towel is a 52/48 cotton/polyester blend – and definitely on the thin side for a towel – but that also means it’s easily foldable to keep compact and in storage when not in use.
’47 MVP Steelers Hat – Value $25
My favorite part about Fanchest is that they tend to include items from ’47 – one of my favorite brands for sports shirts and hats – the summer chest brings an adjustable Steelers hat.
It’s one size fits all, and adjust with a Velcro strap.
Steelers Tritan Water Bottle with Fliptop Lid – Value $13
This is a 24 oz water bottle featuring the Steelers logo, of course.
It’s 100% plastic and BPA free, but my favorite part is the flip top lid that opens on the press of a button, and the ringlet that allows you to carry it with just a finger!
Steelers Lanyard – Value $10
You’ll receive a Steelers lanyard with a feature that makes it better than any other lanyard:
A bottle opener!
Other than that, it’s your typical lanyard with detaching clasps at the neck and base.
Steelers Fan Cave Sign – Value $20 (price tag on the back)
You’ll get this beach feeling Steelers fan cave sign.
It’s a wooden sign – I’m not sure how to use this without a fan cave!
Steelers SPF 30 Sunscreen – Value $3-4?
The last item is a little travel sunscreen with carabineer. Ready for on-the-go.
Verdict: While this wasn’t my favorite Fanchest, I do like that they kept to the summer theme – to me, it felt more like a collection of items that would be perfect to take when you visit Training Camp! Minus the sign, of course. Honestly, if the sign was some other item, I think I’d have a better reaction to the box because the other big ticket items (the towel and hat) were great for me – the sign feels like a bit of an outlier there – let me know what you think!
