Now, onto the items!

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0007

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser – 0.5 oz Value $.55

This gel cleanser is fragrance, paraben, and sulfate free! It was gentle and didn't dry out my skin, too.

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0009

eb5 Facial Cleanser – 0.35 oz Value $.44

This is a creamy, soap-free, facial cleanser. It's made with alpha hydroxy acid as an exfoliant. If you're looking for an exfoliating cleanser without scrubbing particles, this would be a good one. It left my skin feeling super clean.

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0014

Rimmel Colour Precise White Eyeliner Colored Liquid Liner - FULL SIZE! Value $5.59

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0015

It was easy to apply a straight line with this liquid eyeliner. Now the question is, how am I going to use a white eyeliner?

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0016

I usually don't apply eyeliner to my waterline since it irritates my eyes, but using white eyeliner on your waterline is a good trick for making your eyes look bigger. I found some other white eyeliner ideas on Pinterest, too.

Here it is swatched:

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0017

For now, I'm using just a little of this eyeliner at the inner corners of my eyes to brighten them.

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0012

Sally Hansen Double-Duty Base & Top Coat – FULL SIZE! Value $4

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0013

This base and top coat is pretty thin and provides shine. My favorite feature is that it is quick drying. I applied it then got right back to typing out this review a minute later!

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0008

Banana Boat Dry Balance SPF 30 – 1 oz Value $1.33

Unlike most sunscreens that usually have a bit of a greasy finish, this sunscreen actually has a matte finish! It's a pretty amazing formula - and this sample is good for one full use!

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0010

Dr Teals Lavender Foaming Bath – 3 oz Value $.43

The bubble bath is made with Epsom salts to help relieve sore muscles. The lavender scent comes from a blend of real lavender and added fragrance. It definitely smells relaxing, to me!

Target-beauty-box-april-2017-0011

HASK Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner – 1.57 oz Value $1.77

This hair mask is free of sulfates, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol, artificial colors. I've sampled HASK hair masks before and I'm a fan. They smell good and leave my hair feeling soft and moisturized. To use this mask, you apply it post-shampoo, and leave it on for about 10 minutes before rinsing out.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $14. That's on the low end for Target Beauty Box values, but still good, and I appreciate that this box had 2 full size items!

I got both the April Beauty Box and April Natural Beauty Box…the Raw Sugar Lemon Body wash was so incredible that I used the coupon to buy two of the full sized bottles and used the sample bottle I received as a travel bottle. I loved both boxes! I just ordered May- can’t find the ‘natural’ box, though.

It looks like the April Target Beauty Box is still available for purchase:

No free shipping, though.

I have been highly impressed so far with the last few months of Target beauty boxes. I did not chose this box this month, but instead got the beauty naturals box and thought the quality of the items was well worth the 7 dollar fee. I love Acure brands and have used Glow toothpaste in the past.

The thing I like about the Target boxes is they have all seemed to have a pretty well rounded variety of products, a few full size products thrown in and brands I have heard of or wanted to try.

Not Glow – Hello Toothepaste.

This was my first Target box along with the Naturals box. A big reason I decided to try subs was for cleanser, so super happy to have 2 in one box! I’ve been wearing the white eyeliner on my lower lid. My highly opinionated teen tells me that my eyes look brighter without the liner appearing obvious or edgy.

I live in Hawaii and I used to receive these boxes monthly, then suddenly about two months ago they stop shipping to my address.
Not sure why, but I’m thinking this is happening to other customers, and that’s why these boxes are still available.

It’s too bad because I did enjoyed receiving them, and I always liked something I got in their boxes.

I know the value isn’t great, but these are things I need or want to try. I love it!

Same here, I love this box. I got to keep 3 products, my daughter snagged the other 4 haha.

I don’t do waterline stuff so was unsure I’d ever use white eyeliner but my kid has wanted bunny face paint all weekend so it’s been great. 🙂

Great idea – because I have no use for that white eyeliner, either.

For a muted, everyday look, I use a white kohl liner before eyeshadow to create a more saturated line instead of a black or brown liner. Might be worth a try.

I love this box!

I LOVE this box so much I bought two and already bought the full sized bath product. The other box I bought one because I will use the products throughout the summer. I love the idea of the naturals box. I’m not sure that I’ll use the masks in the naturals box because I’ve heard of some sensitive reactions but YesTo has become my go to face wipe so I’ll probably give it a try on the top of my forehead in a tiny area that hair will cover to test first. I’ll use all of these except I’m like others when it comes to the white liner. I’m sure I will use it once in awhile but my eyes don’t usually like waterline products. I do love to play with new makeup options lately so I’ll give it a fair chance! Thanks Liz for trying all these out. I too don’t know how you do it but if the company’s start sending them to me, I’d be glad to help ya out LOL – officially addicted to “mysubscriptionaddiction”.

I received both boxes today and I’m so excited!! I already tried the base/top coat and the red clay cleanser. So excited about everything else

Thank you for the info and ideas about the white eyeliner. I was originally thinking “What do I do with white eyeliner? I am so out of touch!” lol I had hoped you would comment about it and you did! Thank you!! 🙂

I didn’t pick this one up. I got the natural Target box though and I love everything in it.

Johanna

I got a different box, and love it!

Love this box! The nail polish is THE best- prevents any yellowing under colored polish. I wear it year round.

Claire

I love this box! I’ll use everything in it. Very happy with the size of the hair mask sample–I think I might be able to get two uses out of it. I actually buy Dr. Teal’s Epsom salts, so I’m excited to use the foaming bath product. I would definitely buy in full size.

The white liner is awesome to layer under a glitter liner like Tarina Tarantino!!!! It really makes the glitter stand out.

Received both my Target boxes today. At least unlike with Walmart, with Target you actually receive the items advertised.

I suppose the value could be better, but I am still pretty happy with these boxes because I’ll be able to use almost everything in them. The one item I didn’t want already swapped.

As for the white eyeliner, looking at those Pinterest pics I am afraid the application requires quite a bit more expertise than I possess :-), but I’ll try it out anyway. After all, I do do cat-eye every time I go out.

I definitely did not realize the liner was WHITE when I bought this box. 🙁

As for the waterline comment, can you use liquid liner on your waterline? Wouldn’t it wash off before it had a chance to dry?

Reply ButtonReply

Lin

M not a big makeup person but ive been using it on my waterline 3 days already, stays on ALL day, you dont even feel it! And i was scared too c my tired eyes are super sensitive, but i need all the help i can get when it comes to looking wide awake. love it!!

im (pleasanly) surprized the rsv on these is soo low! Nice to have one box with things i can test for Effectivness and also afford.

Julie B,

Liz, I don’t know how you manage to sample all the cleansers, masks and moisturizers you get. How many times a day do you wash your face? 😉

Melissa

That’s the exact same thing I was thinking!
