Switch will always use USPS First Class mail to send your jewelry unless it weighs more than 1 pound. Each package comes with a prepaid USPS return label so you can leave your return for your mail carrier or drop it off at the post office if you're the nervous type (like me!)
When you sign up for Switch, you take a look at all the pieces in their collection and select your favorites. They then match your picks with what they have available and send you the number of pieces that match the plan you've chosen. You choose from actual items in their collection and not just something in a similar style.
This month, Switch gave me a preview of some new pieces they just added to their collection.
Chloe Bettina Bracelet - Value $775, Member Price $543
I'm not afraid to wear a bold piece of jewelry and this bracelet is exactly that! I love the asymmetrical shape and geometrical design. The shiny gold-tone brass is beautifully offset by the cut natural stone. This is a heavy, solid piece that may not be great for everyday wear but is fantastic for adding a statement to a more neutral outfit. My husband thinks I might break my car window with this by accident, though. He's very funny.
The bracelet came in this white envelope bag with the Chloe logo printed on it.
Here's a closer look at that stone. The blue flecks look stunning with the shiny gold cuff.
The inside has an organic design that reminds me of water. It is stamped with the maker's logo and states that it was made in Italy.
Here it is on! It was a good fit for me but would fall lower on the arm for someone with slimmer forearms.
Jennifer Fisher Threader Earrings - Value $400, Member Price $280
To offset the bold bracelet, I picked out some very delicate 14k yellow gold earrings. These earrings from Jennifer Fisher are one piece with two thin bars attached with a chain. The bars are so thin they fit right through the piercing and dangle on each side of the ear, supported by the chain. They are so light I couldn't even feel them. I love how well these earrings complement a bolder piece like the Chloe bracelet or a statement necklace.
The earrings came packed in a branded velvet drawstring bag. Each earring was inside its own zip-top bag to prevent tangling.
Here's a look at the delicate chain and bars.
Here's a look at how the earrings are worn. They're simple enough to go with anything from a black t-shirt to a cocktail dress.
Verdict: I know I've said this before, but I think this was my favorite Switch so far! The earrings are so light and wearable as an everyday piece and the bracelet is the perfect statement piece. Despite my husband's joke that I might break something with the bracelet, I love it. The pieces I received this month were part of Switch's new 50 piece collection. This month's Switch had a total value of $1,175 which is fantastic for a rental fee of $49 for two pieces at a time!
It is important to note that Switch is a rental service so the pieces renters receive have been worn by others. Switch cleans each piece before sending them out but the jewelry will show signs of wear after time. Last month, I rented a piece that was in poor condition which brought to light a big area for improvement with this subscription. Switch apologized for this issue and let MSA know that they will be taking more accurate photographs of the condition of pieces moving forward as well as being more careful to retire pieces that have seen the end of their wearable days. Check out the comments on my February Switch Subscription Review to read Switch's response.
