We're starting a new monthly post highlighting our favorite discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite items from the past month:

Lindsey's Favorite:

Wine-awesomeness-March-2017-pinot

From: Wine Awesomeness (Coupon: For a limited time, get a FREE bottle of bubbly with any prepaid Wine Awesomeness Membership, no coupon required, just use this link! Or, Get one bottle free when you subscribe!, no coupon required, just use this link

Why I love it: My favorite item this month is a bottle of 100% Pinot Gris from Willamette Valley, Oregon’s Mouton Noir. The taste is packed with fruity flavors of apple, pear, and peach, and there’s something about this wine that’s just fun and upbeat. I found it to be VERY drinkable and super tasty!

Anna Rodriguez's Favorite:

just-fab-march-2017-dress

The Item: Cold Shoulder Bell Sleeve Dress

The Cost: $56.95, VIP Price $39.95

From: JustFab (Coupon: Get two styles for $39.95!, no coupon required, just use this link)

Why I love it: This is my new favorite dress! It's so beautiful! I love the colors and print, and it's amazingly both comfortable and flattering. Win!

Lacey's Favorite:

Crate-Chef-March-2017-0006-pancake-mix

The Item: Aretha Frankenstein’s Insanely Great Pancake Mix, 32 oz.

The Cost: $9.95

From: CrateChef (Coupon: For a limited time, get an 4th box free when you sign up for a 3 month subscription! Free box will ship immediately. (Restrictions: Cannot be combined with other discounts). Or, Use code ADDICTION10 to save 10% off your first box!

Why I love it: Seriously still thinking about these pancakes, and would recommend them highly! They were so fluffy and satisfying. I wanted to make more this past weekend but we were sadly out of butter and syrup. It's also worth noting that I finally got around to making the grits from this box last night for dinner (with roasted veggies and lots of hot sauce) and they were soooo good too. Definitely planning a Kentucky & Tennessee road trip soon.

Ragan's Favorite:

whiskerbox-march-2017-sparkles4

whiskerbox-march-2017-monkey2

The Item: Dinosaur Costume from Cat Couture

The Cost: Listed Value $45

From: Whiskerbox (Coupon: Use code msa10 to save 10% off any subscription, for life!)

Why I Love It: I knew as soon as I opened the box and saw a peek of this that it would be awesome. It is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever received from a cat subscription box.  (I’m not sure my cats agree, at least not the ones who had to wear it.)  I can look at the photos of Monkey and Mr. Kitty in it again and again and not get tired of doing so.

Haley's Favorite:

Play-by-Sephora-March-2017-items6

The Item: Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast3 oz

The Cost: Value $15

From: Play! by Sephora #444

Why I love it: I love trying new products from Living Proof! This is a volume and texture spray you use on dry hair. You’re supposed to spray it in sections from root to end, or just the root for some focused boost there. I tried it just on my roots and I definitely noticed a difference! It smells nice, too. Note that this isn’t a dry shampoo, though; definitely a texturizing spray. This is awesome for adding some oomph to your blowout, next day hair, or helping add some grip and volume for an up do!

Nancy S' Favorite:

Sweet-Surprises-March-2017-Necklace-on-card

Sweet-Surprises-March-2017-Necklace-Closeup

The Item: Bakery Charms Spring Sprinkles Donuts Necklace

The Cost: $22?

From: Sweet Surprises

Why I love it: Who doesn't love donuts?? The level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and cuteness in this necklace is unbelievable. I love the way the light reflects off of each sprinkle. I actually gave this to my younger sister as a surprise present and it is now her favorite necklace!

Andy's Favorite:

Battlbox-March-2017-0040

The Item: Olight M1X Striker Flashlight with 18650 Battery Included

The Cost: Total Value $70.95

From: Battlbox (Coupon: Use code MYSUBTEN to save 10% off your first box!)

Why I love it: My wife will tell you I have a growing obsession with flashlights, and while I’m not as extreme as some, I will admit I probably have more than is really necessary. So when I saw this light at the bottom of my box, I was ecstatic! The Olight M1X can blast out 1000 lumens for about an hour on full charge. That’s crazy! And the beam can be thrown up to 623 feet. It’s really bright. Plus it has a striker tip, so it can double as a self-protection weapon. It comes with a 18650 battery, which looks like a long C-size battery, and it’s rechargeable, which is fantastic. It’s not too heavy but it is made of metal so it feels like a solid, well-built light.

Since the original review, I've kept this in my toolbelt as we work to fix up our home that was built in 1929. It's been invaluable for lighting up all the dark corners and wall-interiors. I took it camping one night and on it's highest setting it was enough to light up our entire site. The battery has lasted for over a month of occasional use and is still going strong.

Anna Reilly's Favorite:

Read our review of the Wonderful Objects Time Traveler box!

The Item: Beeswax “Traveler’s Candle” (or “Candle by the Hour”)

The Cost: $23.99?

From: Wonderful Objects Time Traveler Box (Coupon: Use code WONDERADDICT10 to save $10 off any subscription!)

Why I love it: I loved all the magical items in this ultra-creative box, but I was most wowed by this spool-shaped, time-keeping candle. In the context of the box, it's meant to help you time your imaginary adventures, but this gadget has a curious real-world history that makes it all the more fascinating to me!

Jessica's Favorite:

Boox-March-2017-Plush

The Item: Douglas Plush Purple Narwhal

The Cost: $9.95

From: Boox

Why I Love It: It’s a stuffed Narwhal! Narwhals are about the coolest animals in the sea. Plus this one is purple, my favorite color. It’s soft and cuddly and my kids both love it so much they have to take turns each night to get the chance to bring it to bed. I might cave and just buy another one.

Sara's Favorite:

JustFab-March-2017-3

The Item: Franz Fabric Clutch

The Cost: retail $36.95 (VIP price: $24.95)

From: JustFab (Coupon: Get two styles for $39.95!, no coupon required, just use this link)

Why I love it: As soon as I saw this on JustFab at the beginning of March, I knew I had to order it! The clutch is a great size and proving to be quite versatile. It is great quality and I'm a big fan of the textile weave design and faux leather details!

Shawn's Favorite:

WELLNESS-TRIBE-March -2017-10kit.jpg

WELLNESS-TRIBE-March -2017-12kit.jpg

The Item: AnnMarie Skin Care Restore Sample Kit

The Cost: $10.00

From: Wellness Tribe (Coupon: Save 15% off any subscription with code WELLNESSADDICTION15!)

Why I love it: I really liked a serum I received from Feeling Fab this month too but these AnnMarie products won out! With all three products in the kit, the ingredient list is healthy and great for your skin, they leave your skin feeling soft and the natural earthy smell is divine. If you want to use natural products on your skin, I'm betting you will love this line.

Nich's Favorite:

Ours-By-Blackjoy-March-2017-8

Ours-By-Blackjoy-March-2017-9

The Item: Nourish & Shine

The Cost: Value $11.00?

From: Ours By BlackJoy (Coupon: Use code OURS20OFF to save 20% off for life!)

Why I love It: This multi-use blend of butters and natural oils is ideal for my dry skin and hair. I used this to lay my edges, grease my scalp, and tackle my dry skin. This is my new favorite beauty product!

Eric's Favorite:

Loot-Crate-DX-March-2017-0017
The Item: Predator Jungle Demon Figure

The Cost: Value $45 (based on Amazon pack of 7)

From: Loot Crate DX (Coupons: Save 10% off any length subscription, or $3 off month-to-month with coupon code ADDICTION or SAVE3)

Why I love it: Besides the fact that the figure itself looks great and is a callback to the original movie, we're also getting this first-to-market and I love that kind of exclusivity on such a great item.

Liz's Favorite:

Owlcrate-March-2017-0008

The Item: Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller

The Cost: Retail Value $17.99 (On Amazon for $10.29)

From: Owlcrate (Coupon: Use coupon code WELCOME10 to save 10% off your first month!)

Why I loved it: I finished this book in a day. It is one of those books that is just fun to read, and it has great pacing, too. (And it’s great to get a YA book in a genre that hasn’t been overdone. Yay for pirates!) I already can't wait for the next book in the series!

I love your fave of the month feature! My faves were Medusa’s Makeup Lydia lipstick, Ipsy’s Ladykin Snail Cream, Beauty & Bling’s Manna Kadar luminizing cream, Beautycon’s Cargo Palette, and I got some free extras from Fruit for Thought – one of those was a cute makeup bag with fruits all over it, and another was this body butter from Three Sisters Apocothery called Santa Rosa Plum Nutmeg. It was full size but in less than one month I’m hitting bottom because I love using it so much – the scent is a perfect mix of fruity and spicy. Oh, and I’ve been using the bag from Rachel Zoe’s box of style every day and wearing my LA Girl Lip Paint from Ricky’s Cult Crush a ton. I know that’s a lot, but I get a lot! And we had Box of Style, Beautycon, NewBeauty Testtube, and Vegan Cuts makeup this month besides all the monthlys!

I love these posts! I’d love to see the swap posts, and yes, where’s Buckles?!

It’s hard for me to remember everything that came this month, so I’ll go with the Ladykin snail cream from ipsy — I haven’t gotten up the guts to use it but it’s so darn cute that I keep it sitting on my desk. Also, from Candy Club, Taffy Town’s Chicken & Waffles taffy, which is amazing and that I’m trying very hard to ration out.

I forgot about that when thinking of my faves…that snail cream is great! Use it – you’ll love it. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft and nice!

This is a fun post!
This is a hard month to choose a favorite because FFF came this month. But, I would have to say, my favorite is either the earrings from FFF or the Elvovh finnishing hair balm from Beautyfix. It was a good month for boxes!

That dinosaur costume on Reagan’s cat’s, Monkey and Mr. Kitty, are so cute! I can’t stop laughing. It’s just too adorable!

Lola

I laugh every time I view them. Sometimes for a pick me up I just go look at the cat reviews and laugh at the photos.

I love that you are doing a monthly favorites list! I found two great new items I want to try already! I found two fantastic new items this month that I can’t get enough of. Both are by Elizabeth Mott. The first is the eye shadow blending brush that I got in my Ipsy bag. I have a BAG full of brushes, but this is the best blending brush I’ve ever used. I also received some Brow Mascara in a Wantable make up box that is PERFECTION. My brows are beginning to gray so I have been searching frantically for something that covers the gray but still looks natural. I’ll never be without this stuff again. I love it.

I’m so glad to have discovered this community because my friends just stare at me when I talk about my sub box obsession. 😀

I hear that. If not for here and youtube unboxers, I would feel so odd. But now I know there are more like me!

My friends don’t understand it either! Thank god for this website and this community!
