Sweet Surprises is a monthly subscription box by Bakery Charms, a Hawaii-based jewelry store that offers realistically cute dessert jewelry and accessories. Every month they send you a Bakery Charms piece (usually a necklace) along with 2-3 extras, including an edible treat, related to the theme and a coupon code.
Each jewelry piece is handmade out of polymer clay and other materials by self-taught polymer clay artist, Jenn K. Lee. The Bakery Charms piece may be an exclusive subscribers-only necklace, an early release of a magnet/keychain, or a variation of a current bestselling ring, and it will be worth more than the cost of the subscription. The small extras are included to support the featured piece and increase the box's fun and cute factors.

Bakery Charms Spring Sprinkles Donuts Necklace - Value $22?
If I could eat donuts every day without repercussions, I totally would. In the meantime, I'll just drool over them with this zero-calorie alternative. The pendant features four glazed donuts with pastel sprinkles, served on a square metal tray. It also has an 18-inch chain and lobster clasp closure. This piece is exclusive to the subscription but I found a similar style on their website here.
Bakery Charms sells their necklaces with silver plated chains or sterling silver for an additional cost. I assume this necklace comes with silver plated chains.
The necklace measures 5/8" on each side and rests below the collarbone. I love the delicate attention to detail! I can almost taste the sugar glaze and crunchy pearly sprinkles over a fresh, tender donut. Mmmm...
Donut Notepad - Value $1?
This slim donut notepad has soft, tear-able pages. The pages are thin so I'd probably only use pencil and pen on it. Markers would easily bleed through. I will use this for jotting down quick notes.
Scented Donut Eraser - Value $1?
This donut eraser is surprisingly large! It measures 2 inches wide and comes in a neat plastic case. Best of all, it smells like soft vanilla cake. As a bonus, it erases pencil marks cleanly with no streaks.
Donut Lollipop - Value $1?
There's an edible treat included every month, and this month is a donut-shaped lollipop. It has a sugary vanilla flavor, but to be honest, it looks cuter than it tastes... I blame it on the colored "icing."
Verdict: This month's donut necklace is overwhelmingly cute, and I think it is representative of Bakery Charms' adorable style and craftsmanship. I also enjoy this piece more so than last month's piece. The total value is around $25. While it isn't a high-value box, this subscription is great for anyone who likes miniature food jewelry, incredible attention to detail, and/or supporting independent businesses!
