Nerd Block Jr. has just recently started including information cards that list out the contents, and I am so pleased! Sometimes with the geek boxes, it's hard to tell what something is!

Exclusive T-Shirt: GI Joe - Value $15?

This tee is so cool, and my sons don't even know! I have been trying to educate them about GI Joe, but there's just such a long history there. In any case, this is one of my favorite things about kid geek boxes: sometimes they get some geekery from historical eras, and we get to explore it together! As usual, this is a quality print on heavy duty cotton.

National Geographic Kids Magazine - Listed Price $4.99 (for single-issue)

I guess NBJB is making National Geographic KIDS a regular inclusion, and I'm so glad! It's great, interesting reading with lots of fun activities! My nine-year-old is becoming a regular fan of the magazine, particularly all the articles about exotic animals he has never heard of. (Pagola? Who knew?)

Transformers Stickers - Value $2?

Do boys ever stop being Transformers fans? Or sticker fans, for that matter? I could not find these exact stickers for sale online, so the value here is an estimate.

Captain America Mini Mug - Value $14.99

This is completely cracking me up. So, obviously, the boys are kind of ambivalent about getting a creamer pitcher in the shape of Captain America's head. I mean, if they drank coffee, maybe, but... I can't even... This is too awesome...

Hawkeye Disney Infinity Figure - Value $7.82

Yes, Hawkeye! Hawkeye is my nine-year-old's favorite Avenger and the character that inspired him to take up archery. He was so stoked to get this little figure! And it made me happy because it reminded me that when the kids first saw Avengers, the nine-year-old was about four, and he thought the character's name was Hot Guy. True story!

Sonic the Hedgehog Baseball Cap - Value $10?

I hate to say it, but you know the swag is good when an instant fight breaks out over ownership in my house. They are just going to have to take turns! Or maybe I will claim it! In any case, I couldn't find this exact hat for sale online, so the value is an estimate.

May Spoiler Alert!

Verdict: My sons love Nerd Block Junior for Boys! And guess what? It was an all hits month! Yes, I am even considering the creamer mug a hit, I just love it and can't wait to have a friend over for coffee. The value this month adds up to about $55, which is awesome for a $29.90 box ($19.95 + $9.95 shipping)!

Meh. A ceramic mini mug for kids? Really? If you want it broken in 2 seconds. Do people even play infinity anymore? Seems like you guys have a special Hawkeye memory, but I assume that most people don’t (at least I don’t). I keep looking for new fun boxes for my family, but this one has not even tempted me to bite yet. Hrmph.
