Chococurb-March-2017-Vivra

Vivra Orange Passion - Value $7.00

This bar is crafted with dark chocolate and orange flavors. It contains some orange zest, along with passion fruit powder to add an extra kick. I received this bar in December as well. The dark chocolate pairs really nicely with the passion fruit and the orange flavoring.

Chococurb-March-2017-Seattle-Truffles

Chococurb-March-2017-Seattle-Chocolates-Opened

Cappuccino Crunch with Almonds by Seattle Chocolates - Value $0.43

This truffle has a cappuccino filling with decaf Turkish coffee, almonds, and toffee. It was really delicious.

Peanut Brittle by Seattle Chocolates - Value $0.43

This truffle has candied peanuts with smooth milk chocolate and a bit of toffee flavoring. It is a great mix of sweet and salty.

Chococurb-March-2017-Pacari

Pacari Andean Mint Chocolate Bar - Value $5.50

This chocolate bar is made from organic chocolate and is 'tree to bar,' which I imagine is the same as 'bean to bar.' The chocolate leans to the dark side of the scale and the mint flavor is quite mild. It really was great!

Chococurb-March-2017-Dolfin-Bar

Dolfin Caramel au Beurre Sale Milk Chocolate Bar - Value $5.99

This chocolate bar is made with milk chocolate and salted butter caramel. The caramel is not a filling, as you might expect, but little pieces of almost toffee-like consistency.

Chococurb-March-2017-Dolfin-packaging

This is the most unique chocolate bar packaging I've seen in quite a while! It came in a laminated envelope, with a packaged chocolate bar inside.

Chococurb-March-2017-Dolfin

Here's a picture of the bar itself - it was delicious!

Chococurb-March-2017-Mayana

Mayana Coconut Dream Bar - Value $8.00

Mayana makes some amazing chocolate bars. I've waxed poetic about them many times before, so I'll spare you a little this time!

Chococurb-March-2017-Mayana-Coconut

This chocolate bar has a coconut cookie, salted caramel, a coconut layer, and dark chocolate all topped off by a bit more coconut. It was really great! I am not a huge coconut fan, so the rest of the bar will be passed along to someone that will really enjoy it!

Verdict: This month's Chococurb Classic value comes out to about $27.35.This is a bit lower than the past few months, but I am still quite happy with the chocolate that I received. The mixture of products and flavors was really nice. I have received at least one of these bars in the past but since it was one I enjoyed, I don't mind as much! Artisan chocolate can be hard to find in my area, so I am always happy to get a box full of it each month.

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!

I thought the same thing Helen. If you don’t like dark chocolate, and I do not, this box won’t work. I also think the cost is ridiculous for the small amount of chocolate you get.

I guess if you aren’t Pollyanna about every box you don’t get to leave comments.

As much as I love chocolate I have no interest in this box. Even the milk chocolate looks too dark for me. I also think that $35 for what little you get is not worth it. It is less than 11 ounces of chocolate not including the little Seattle chocolates. I also notice that when I clicked on the link the Classic box on the website looks like it has a lot more items in it. This actually looks more like the mini box.
