Now, onto the items!
Akar Ruby Tint Lip Butter - 2 ml Value $8
This lip butter is made with natural and organic ingredients, and it’s super moisturizing and provides a hint of shine and color.
Here it is swatched:
You might be able to notice it from the swatch - this formula is a tad grainy right out of the jar. I was able to rub the lip balm in for a smooth finish, though.
Londontown Lakur Enhanced Color in Cheerio - FULL SIZE! Value $16
Subscribers will receive one of five colors: Love Bite #9 (cotton candy pink), Bespoked (blush), Cheerio (sheer pink), Princess Awaits (iridescent white with rose gold sparkles), or Fruit Tella (vibrant fuchsia).
I'm in love with this sheer pale pink shade! It's a great no-polish polish look. Here it is with two coats:
So simple and classic! (And this vegan polish is 9-free!)
Londontown kur Nourishing Cuticle Oil - FULL SIZE! Value $18
This cuticle oil works instantly to moisturize and improve the appearance of cuticles. And there is no chemical smell - love it!
Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum - 7 ml Value $2.85
This serum is designed to help "brighten skin and boost collagen health, minimizing the look of fine lines and wrinkles while improving the appearance of uneven skin tone."
It's a lightweight gel/cream hybrid that absorbs quickly and is gentle on my skin. Plus, I don't always like Derma E scents, but this one is a winner for me! (I think it sort of smells like Fruit Loops, but my husband, Eric disagrees!)
John Frieda 7 Day Volume In-Shower Treatment - 1 oz Value $2.25
This treatment is designed to give your hair extra volume and texture. You apply it post shampoo and conditioner while you're still in the shower, then rinse out after 3-5 minutes.
I'm on a constant quest for more volume, so I was excited to give this a try. It was easy enough to use, and I went without any additional hair products post-shower to make sure I didn't mess with the formula.
Unfortunately, I didn't get the major volume results I was hoping for. My hair feels slightly more texturized, but that's it. (This may work better for people with thinner hair.)
Secret Invisible Solid Deodorant in Cool Waterlily - .5 oz Value $1
Secret is my go-to deodorant, so I'm happy to see this bonus item addition! (All subscribers will receive this, but it isn't listed in the booklet.) The scent isn't what I would pick for myself, but I don't mind it, and I always need mini deodorants for travel.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $48. That's good for a $15 beauty box! The only downside is that a lot of the value is in the two full-size nail products. If you like the Londontown items as much as I do, I think you'll love this box. If you don't, I think the March box might not be for you.
What do you think of the March Allure Beauty Box?
This box is regularly $15 a month, but you can use this link to save $5 off your first box. (If you sign up before the end of March, your first box will be the March box.)
You'll also get this eyeshadow palette for FREE:
(It will ship separately from the March box.)
