Meowbox is a monthly subscription box for cats filled with fun, unique toys, and natural, grain-free, organic, or locally-made treats.
As usual, Angus was helpful.
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Foufoucat Catnip Spray (4 oz) – Value $8.99
This is a more generous size of catnip spray than I am used to getting in subscription boxes. I use it to refresh toys or on cardboard boxes (boxes are a good Angus distraction).
Crochet Kitty Catnip Fish with Ribbon Streamers – Value $5
Several of the cats liked this. I think it was Sneaky’s favorite out of the toys, but Angus enjoyed it as well. You’ll get a lot of items from small producers like this in Meowbox.
Wand w/Felt Ice Cream Cone – Value $7?
Dangly things on sticks are ALWAYS a win for us. I expected this to be Sneaky’s favorite but Angus butted in and wouldn’t let anyone else play. This is from The EmPURRium but their Shopify site is down right now so the value is an estimate.
Ruff & Whiskerz Donut – Value $4?
This was a Meowbox exclusive. Monkey showed a fair amount of interest in it. We’ve been getting a lot of exclusive toys from Ruff & Whiskerz lately. They’re pretty well-made and the cats seem to like them. Because Ruff & Whiskerz commercially-available toys are somewhat different from this, the value you see here is an estimate.
Vital Essentials Vital Cat Freeze-Dried Ahi Tuna (1.1 oz) – Value $4.49
My cats are not so much into the freeze dried meats, although Sneaky ate some of this. Madison didn’t seem to know what to do with it. Angus kept putting it in his mouth and dropping it again. Of course Mr. Kitty wanted it, but he is the one cat who can’t have tuna. (Chewy doesn’t have the Ahi Tuna right now but they have a handful of other flavors from this company. I hope we get the rabbit some day; Mr. Kitty can have rabbit.)

Angus was interested in the treats, but more interested in the ice cream cone toy. Usually Sneaky loves toys like this but he didn’t even give her a chance. (Sneaky and Angus don’t get along so well, but we are doing what we can to change that.)
Madison was hiding in the bedroom. I did manage to get one photo of him.
Monkey with the donut. Later I put this around his tail and he barely even noticed.
Sneaky doesn’t want to admit it but she does like these toys. I see her playing with them, just not when I have the camera nearby. Especially the fish thing with streamers.
Mr. Kitty wasn’t being very cooperative. In fairness, I photographed four cat subscription boxes on the same day and that may have been a little bit much for him.
Verdict: I calculated a value of $29.48 for the February Meowbox. Of course, a few of the values were estimates so that could be up or down a little. On balance, this was a good month for us because Angus enjoyed almost everything (and sometimes even let the other cats play with the toys). This came in above the month-to-month cost of a subscription, but you will get an even better value using our ADDICTION coupon. If you like getting toys from Etsy artisans and exclusive toys from better-known brands as well, this subscription could work for you. It also helps if you have multiple cats.
What did you think of the February 2017 Meowbox? Do you subscribe to any cat boxes?
