Our second reveal from our spring box is the Black Diamond Knife Block from Edge of Belgravia.
Futuristic in conception, this unique, angular float knife block designed by Christian Bird is a piece of art for the kitchen. It brings to mind the angles of a rough cut diamond. Clever use of weighting secures the knives in the block, and slight angling allows for easy extraction. Designed for maximum flexibility it is suitable for most knives.

Darn, looks like I’m stuck with this box. Annual subscribers can’t skip a month. But I did update my account so I’m quarterly now. I’ll put stuff up to swap once I receive my box. Hope I love everything else in the box at least. 🙁

Hi Krissy! Quarterly subscribers can skip a box from their online account, or they can contact us. Annual subscribers can’t move shipments within their annual series online, but they can contact us for assistance. Now that you are quarterly, you should be able to skip from your online account. Let us know if you need any help!

I am going to have to skip this month…nothing at all interested in or would even remotely fit my kitchen. I do like they give you the option to skip b/c when they are on, they really nail it.

I skipped… I love my kitchen and was really looking forward to this box! But this just doesn’t fit with my kitchen. I prefer not to have anything on my counters.. especially not my knives and especially not open to the elements… Glad I can skip! Looking forward to the summer edition.

Its pretty but it realistically fits about four knives. Kind of useless

Hi Jeein! This block has 11 knife slots. We tested it out ourselves and it fit a full set perfectly. Hope that helps!

Agree it won’t fit much. I have good knives and storage for them. I was already not loving the bowl, so I went online to see how to cancel, but saw you can just skip so I did that instead.

I skipped too. I was hoping it would be geared more towards tools and gadgets. But the decor items don’t fit with my house at all. So sad because I have really loved just about everything else happy rebel has offered.

Wow! So excited for this box! The knife set I have is just a little over a year old and even though the block matches my kitchen pretty well, this one….EVEN BETTER! Definitely something I’d never spend the money on but am always looking at.

This is probably a really dumb question but what is the knife block made of…I assume metal but I can’t find that info anywhere.

This is right up my alley, so I caved and subscribed. I’ve been considering happy rebel for a while, but this is the nudge I needed. Looking forward to adding some edgy items to my kitchen!

I am a “happy rebel”. I have been looking at this knife rack as my counters are all stainless and thought this would be a great look and more sanitary. I may have to do a complete kitchen revamp based on this box. Can hardly wait!

Yeeessssss! This knife block is so dang cool. I have a wooden knife block right now that came with my knife set, but I know that (ironically) wooden knife blocks are actually terrible for your knives. They make them dull and trap germs! Will be happy to upgrade with this one.

Wow, this is really cool. The knife block alone is worth $100. I wish this came in a color choice but I’ll probably use it anyway in the black. I have a beautiful wooden knife block but I’ve had it forever and I wonder how sanitary it is inside after all these years. At least this new one will be easy to clean.

I have loved just about all the boxes so far BUT this one might not be for me. A bowl and knife rack? I have a huge butcher block one that I have no intention of replacing so I may have to cancel this one before they bill.

I’m sure this appeals to someone just not me and I am so bummed cause I have been waiting for this next box since I got the last one. lol
