You'll receive 4 different types of candy each month. 3 will arrive in cups, while the last treats are smaller, loose, candies in the box itself.

Instead of one card that detailed each item in the box, they now send individual cards for each treat.

Vidal Sour Jelly Clothes Pegs

There was only one sour item this month - and they are shaped like clothes pins (???).

I can't tolerate super sour items - but these were fruity tasting and only slightly sour, so I really liked them!

E.Frutti Peachy Penguin Gummies

An old favorite returns! These little gummy penguins are one of my favorite gummy candies!

I mean, those are pretty cute, too. These little penguins are mildly peachy and are made with real fruit juice.

Vidal Jelly Filled Twist Cones

These are my favorite of the month - and a new favorite overall!

These are imported from Spain - they are really juicy and flavorful! I really expected them to have a watermelon taste because of their appearance, but they don't. I can't even really pinpoint what the taste is - but it's good.

Atkinson's Chick-O-Stick

This month's loose candy items are Chick-O-Sticks.

These peanut-buttery bites really remind me of a Zagnut bar - which I was a fan of as a child - so, needless to say, I like these. The toasted coconut outer shell is nice and crunchy, too.

Verdict: A couple months into reviewing this box, I've found that I've always found a couple new sweets that I really enjoy. I also like the amount of candy we get - it's enough to share, and not too much to allow me to totally over eat the candy. This still remains one of the boxes we're most excited about getting each month!

What do you think of Candy Club? Are there favorite candies you hope to get each month?

Odd that only one of the items was sour.

It was a pleasant oddity for me! You can select all sweets or all sours though, if you’re looking to make sure you get one of the other.

They don’t have a sweet or sour option anymore, they have you rate the candies now and “groups” of candies. I got my first box last week and they ended up having to send two replacements. Great customer service!
