Each box comes with a card detailing the inspiration around the box and lists out each item in the box.
This month – they’ve also tossed in a coupon for $10 off of a $50 purchase in the Birchbox store.
Ministry Of Supply Smarter Dress Socks – Value $20 (The value is $30 if you go by their online store prices!)
Each month, you’ll be able to choose one of your items. Typically, you’ll have 3 choices of men’s lifestyle items. If you follow my reviews, you won’t be surprised that this month I chose the socks!
Birchbox valued this pair of socks at $20 – but the Ministry of Supply site lists one pair at $15 each – so $30 value!
Thes are called “Smarter Dress Socks” but there isn’t much here that is a typically dress sock. These are bulky enough to wear out in cold weather and have a little extra padding on the arch of your foot – it’s extra comfy.
These are some of my favorite socks over the past couple months – they kept my feet dry and comfortable.
Esquire 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash – Value $1.25 (based on $17.50 full size)
My favorite non-lifestyle item this month is a combo shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from Esquire. I’m a sucker for any type of efficiency with my shower – so this was used up pretty quickly, and worked really well for all 3 applications.
Anthony Algae Facial Cleanser – Value $2.28 (based on $36 full size)
I’ve received a lot of Anthony products from Birchbox Man – but this was my favorite from them. Overall, it does its job very well. The scent was pretty familiar, too – it smells just like an Arctic Ice Gatorade!
Clean White Vetiver + Black Leather Duo – Value $2.23 for both bottles (based on $76 full size)
This set of colognes is meant to be layered and worn together. Each had a contrasting scent and both were definitely bearable for me to wear (which is rare for myself and cologne!)
Billy Jealousy Assassin Intensive Face Moisturizer – Value $.44 (based on $30 full size)
You’ll get a tiny little sample of this billy Jealousy facial moisturizer. There isn’t much scent to it – so it’s good if you’re just looking to quickly moisturize your skin.
Number 4 Hydrating Conditioner – BONUS
The final item of the box is a bonus foil packet conditioner sample. Overall, this is a pretty normal conditioner with very little scent to it. It was fine, but not anything I’d purchase.
Verdict: I absolutely loved this month’s delivery. I would have been happy with just the socks for $20 – so finding the Anthony face scrub + the 3-in-1 wash is just like a major bonus. Birchbox Man has been a very good box for me for the past 4-5 deliveries!
